Occult Vs. Divine?

Is it true that Occult is better for pvp, but Divine is better for PvM? Like that Alive vs Dead thing?

no, search the wiki before posting stuff like this.
devine does kill the skeletons and they dont regenerate but thats pretty much it.

Or I can post it and not search it. Couldn't I? Seems to be so.

Divine is better when fighting Yellow phatoms, occult is better when fighting Blue phantoms, Normal is better when fightning white phantoms, and fire is better when fighting red phantoms.

Obviously not true, as I got an answer to it :o

lol someone tested this and disproved it in the old forums, like i said the only thing devine does is kill skellies, if you have low faith go with devine and occult with high faith. hopefully we wont see this thread again but i know people will still ask it *sigh*

I didn't even know if the old one would still have anything, as it was supposed to be getting everything deleted, thats what I thought was said anyway.

Occult does more damage to servants of gods, in theory. It does more damage to Silver Knights and Black Knigts. That's a Fact. We need someone to test this on people and mobs now. There was rumors that said that Occult did more damage to Hosts when Invading. Also there were rumors that said that Divine made more damage to Red Phantoms such as Dark Wraiths.

You're being too aggressive with this guy, he just comes and gives a question, there is no need to be rude with him. Also this "question" of his, has not yet a good answer.

I don't remember a post with exact numbers disproving this theory.

One rumor I can confirm it's not true, at least from my personal tests, it's that occult weapons can hit ghosts. At least my Occult Barbed Straight Sword +5 didn't do any damage to them.

It doesn't matter anymore, just try to be more "soft" with people when answering their questions; and, as d13 said, if you don't want to answer the question don't post. The last thing we want is that we "scare" new people of the forum.
