Faith build?

This character is a WIP, so it doesnt have a lot of the best stuff, but those are my current stats. I'm trying to make a faith support/long range attack character...is this a good build? Is it viable in PvP? (im kinda 50/50 on wins and losses, but i havent invaded many people yet, just been invaded a lot lol) Thanks in advance!

Where are my WoGs??? Your Lightning Spears are way too slow with that Dex. I have a similar pure faith build but it's SL 80... I'll play with the calculator now...

BTW is SL 50 your level cap?

I thought i saw on the wiki that dex didn't affect miracles much, so i just went without. the miracles you see on the calc are the ones i have live right now, i havent saved rhea yet, so i cant buy WoG.

No im not capping at 50, im probably going up to 120 or so, but i decided to post my stats as they are so ppl might be able to give me tips on how i COULD build my character as i progress.

Believe it or not, high Dex make Lightning Spears faster. I noticed a difference on my Dex/Faith build vs a low Dex build. So if you want to use them for PvP you'll want to have 45 Dex. Also you want to use support healing miracles for coop or for yourself?

well i was going to do others, but princess guard cov is so boring. id rather be a DW and just use replenishment and heal. For coop i just stay in the back and melt faces with my spears.

LOL my friend says it's the best covenant because you can hold her with both hands lol. He wants to make an user made covenant on the forums based of her only. I was making a pure faith Gwynevere cosplay and I was so excited because it was going to be used for coop assist only by using her healing miracles.

I'm thinking that would be a good idea for a paladin tankish build. Heaviest armor you can get, high vit and end, takes all the damage while healing the group with Bountiful and Soothing sunlight :o

Only drawback is that it doesn't have poise. But your WoGs and Lightning Spears will be super fast. The bow is *** effective for PvP. I don't think you'll need Sunlight Blade so change it for another miracle.

that looks great! thanks for your help my friend. Now i just need to get used to pvp lol, just got XBL yesterday. The timing is so confusing! i got killed last night by someone that was 15 feet away from me using a short sword....lag ftw?

Yes, oh **** well if you are new to PvP you'll want to have poise....Then maybe lower Dex to a minimum and increase End so you can have high poise armor. Your Lightning Spears will be slow though....

i dunno...i think id rather have the fast spears tbh. ive hit ppl once or twice with my spears, but due to lag it hardly ever seems to do any actual damage....so fast spears would be nice. would also be nice if id stop getting backstabbed when im not in reach of their weapon >.<

If you have the time and patience, this is an effective Faith Build....the only problem is how long it would take you to get there.

lol even if im new at it, id rather have the multiplayer than have a high level character. Besides, i still have my first character that just hit 710 a while ago

And doing a good SL 120 is very challenging because you have to sacrifice stats to be effective.

thats allright. PvE in DkS is starting to get too easy. When youve played enough to level to 710 legitimately, you know all the npc tricks lol. This faith support build i started is pretty challenging and fun (but it was hell to get to the second bonfire in anor londo).

I have a 200 toon and I find people...though not nearly as much as my 125, so yeah, I suppose you're right...you can't deny that wouldn't be a ***** build though.

I'm a Demon's and Dark Souls vet but I've only just started a cleric in order to make a faith build.
I'm intrigued by your Paladin, Noob. I obviously don't have much experience with faith scaling so I have one question: Would it be more beneficial (particularly in a PvP context) to make the Iaito an occult weapon?
