Catacombs are hopPing tonight. I just invaded a runner. After searching for her forever to ask for a dance I decided to open up vamos for her. She dies somehow right before I get there. I jump in anyway. The last thing she sees is me and Vamos. With me told to "be gone."

Next invasion I got a dance partner. Threw a few glowsticks down and danced some more. He dropped me are humanity and I have him two divine blessings and ran off a cliff

Ok. The party is officially over on the US east coast. I found a lot of dancers tonight, a few hostiles (fireworks were never successful at making friends) and a couple more great stories. Two I'll tell tomorrow when I post videos and a picture. For now I'll share my final invasion of the night.

Had to spend some time looking and finally see damage starts way below me in the catacombs. I rock the Vamos shortcut and wind around to the black knight. The host takes the leeroy shortcut and hides near the pinwheel door. I dance a couple times and nothing. I jump down a and the fool rushes me. I assume they're new to the game but decide against it when I see Smough's armor. Suddenly this guy is surrounded by Bonewheels. I stay back and figure let him try to win this mess. A minute later I find out the answer to the age old question:

How does a level 40 invader beat a level 700 host?

Those give you the basic idea. I was stylishly sporting the crimson waistcloth and mask of the sealers, paired with the antiquated top and crest shield.

Meant to add - the red phantom hanging out with me was awesome. threw down a few glowsticks of his own and busted a few moves with me

Skare I don't care if you say its over, I haven't gotten a chance to participate yet so no, its not over. It looks like you guys are having fun and since the stupid 4th fell on a Wed this year the BBQ shall continue!

Ok......as promised I have some of my best shenanigans to share today.

This first one started off great. I saw the host almost immediately and start dancing. He starts casting soul arrows at me. He doesn't seem like he wants to stop. Gear looks like it's his first time through (ever) so I doubt he's in the mood for invader jokes. So I rush him. With an unupgraded Frisbee shield and a broken trident that I don't have the stats for. He takes a few rings to the face which is hysterical. He picks up on the timing quick and I realize I'm not gonna win that way. Since I really only want to win the fight if it fits the prank I resign myself to losing. But let's do it fun......a few attempts with the trident should be funny. I hit him twice.....yay 16 damage from two hits. I swap out to my chaos scythe to get him to back off, kinda works. I figure let's gamble when he gets aggressive. Hopefully the +5 chaos scythe won't kill him but it will BBQ him for sure and skare the bejesus outta him. Good timing makes this video great. I nail him hard with that and he kills me at almost the same time.

Earlier in the night I had my best reaction from a host. I had invaded and the person was trying to run. Feel free to skip the first couple minutes of the vid, it's just me looking for the guy. I find him try to get his attention, doesn't work the first time. I catch him finally and he starts spamming the "well what is it" gesture and "come here." (Don't think the vid shows it well. All while I'm dancing. I back up a bit and drop a few glowsticks. He approaches while I dance. I try to gift him a couple items and he hits me. Ok.......he backs off and I try again but this time he burns me. It's on. Prank fight time. Another hole in one with the ring shield. Use the Great Scythe to get him to back off. The gear means he's probably not new to the dance and he sure as hell looks like he respects the scythe. Anyway, I get carried away avoiding him and trying to hit him with garbage attacks and fall off the cliff. Perfect ending.....but it's not quite over yet.

A minute later I get a message with a sad face and a seemingly sincere R.I.P. I start laughing and reply that he just got to participate in the party and labeled what had happened as dancing, glowsticks and frisbee I get a nice reply. I invaded again and dropped off some humanity and cracked orbs to encourage the guy to do his own party invasions.

They had an error when I first posted and just showed graphics from this forum which was weird. I deleted the embed quick so they showed blank for awhile. Currently they have the youtube embed in them but if they're still not showing I can try to fix them again. Worst case they're on my channel as the two newest videos. Lame if they're broken.

Yo Skare, I'm really sorry I couldn't participate! I really got too much other stuff going on, and had to work btw... the free time I had on Wednesday I spent taking the pics of my screen and editing. :roll: On Thursday I was going to eventually buy the HD PVR or the Dazzle (wanted to get such a device since ever) but at the store they said they currently don't have either of them in stock. As I got home there was just housework and then I was really damn tired. That incredible heat makes my days twice as exhausting. Praise the sun.

That's a good plan Darkson. Will add those now. Federally and DoughGuy are planning on keeping the party going. You could always do the after hours pranks too.

The thing is, if I do pranks and such I would also love to share the gameplay. So I wanna get a recording device first. Before I get mad about that I wasn't able to record a particular scene you know.

Yeah there is no reason this can't continue through the weekend, the friendly message you got makes this obvious!
