For me, you're more than forgiven. Please start working on a sequel, be it for Demon's or Dark.

Which is just genius imo. I have played so many friggin rpgs from Zork onward that having to listen to exposition and world building vomit from every NPC and sit through 20minute cut scenes just...rankles to say the least. In almost every other RPG I find myself quoting Wayne's World (gosh I'm getting on in years):kennereth wrote:Not mentioning that it's the first time I've played a game that tells a good chuck of its lore and story by the items descriptions.

Heck even without any modifications to the platform or presentation! This is one of the few games I've played of the recent generation consoles that I completely move past the aggregate parts and find myself immersed in a fantastic world based upon the whole experience.
Who cares if I get stabbed fifty or so times by b---es in Blighttown who play LagvP while I am screaming at those g.d. mosquitos?

In my opinion, they've got the best RPGs out there (specially considering FF lost its way, and Skyrim is more about size than quality), and I'm glad to see they sold so many units. I do my share, and recommend it to anyone I know with a PS3.

Seriously.....I hereby disagree...Midgar wrote:I think the game really failed in the sense that they upgraded absolutely nothing. Demon and Dark Souls are exactly alike except for new items and characters. There is still a severe lack of storyline, online play has not changed at all(Would be nice to be able to summon friends directly), and as far as I know they removed events from the game, haven't seen those.
I haven't noticed any frame rate issues except one time when I was climbing a ladder in the Painting Land.
