The rules you have for this covenant are just awful in my opinion and i feel that you aren't going to achieve much in terms of being "good". You are stating that you approve of your members to join up and gank other members, which is also what the Brotherhood Of the Blade is out to put an end to. I strongly suggest that you rethink your methods and change some of your "rules" so that you can steer away from being labeled "Corrupted" in our standards.

We only gank those in the book of the guilty.

Members are forbidden to attack darkmoons. We care not of the opinions of others. If people hate us in our noble quest to eliminate sinners so be it.

We are martyrs for the cause, the anti-heros I suppose. Undead who walk down the path of darkness get the afterlife in Lordran they deserve.

Ganking those in the book ... in the forest ... this will not end well.

Seems more a noble-less quest to me. You are essentially ganking the average pvper therefore if you continue with such, you are going to become a target of the Brotherhood.

Basically when someone is killed by a DM they lose one point in the book of the guilty.

When we use cheap tactics we are purging sin. Thus ganking guilty is looked at as right as it leads to our goal of purging sin

One might ask about the indictment rule, honestly if they beat us they earned the indict.

Only thing considered dishonerable is hacking, that is too far. Also our members don't have to indict hackers

How do DMs gank the guilty?

We encourage our members to invade as DM to purge however it is also acceptable to gank forest while in own realm.

This discourages invaders from commiting sin (our second goal is to strike fear in the hearts of sinners)

You are worse then they are by displaying such acts of cheapness and lack of skill. By ganking you aren't striking fear into anyone, you're only making them want to resort to cheap methods to fight people in the forest, even if it's a 1v1. People like yourself cause others to have to resort to cheap tactics just to combat you.

Honestly I've never ganked before. I'm acually usually the victim of ganking.

Besides the more time spent ganking is less time spent invading.

I will stop encouraging but I will not punish covenant members who do. DM invasions are what counts anyway.

Edit ranks 3 + 4 3v1s as humans are fine but spawn camping is discouraged

You should inform your members that ganking is bad and also that you should do some kind of punishment for doing so if they do not heed the warning.

A ganker that proves he can only gank is not worthy of the Covenant.

How is a 3 vs 1 acceptable?

Being a 'cheap' covenant is fine, not very honourable. But acceptable. You can be skilled at being cheap by getting really good at Chain BS or TWoP usage something like that.

But a 3 vs 1 is a gank, not skilled cheapness.

Your covenant is about Dark Moons anyway. Try to keep it that way, the combat and ranks should be based on Darkmoon invasions. The forest should have nothing to do with it.

When you are hosting in the forest you are not purging sinners you are becoming one yourself. Only as a Darkmoon can you purge ones' sin.

Essentially you are ganking the noble forest hunters who are just protecting their land from the gankers... Every match my FH goes into that is a 1v2 or more he gets indicted. Soooo.... FH Wrath inbound if you have the nerves to invade us, just kidding. We're the Men in Tights. Do you really want to battle us? ^^ It is cool gear but he has besmirched it in a manner. He pulled off the ideals in a bad context.

Maybe I just need help, I've never really done this before. I'm kind of disorganised by nature.

Basically this is a Darkmoon velka based cov not bound by honor and unafraid of making enemies.

I want it to be pvp based on DM invasions but incorporate my members working together as well.

Ideas? This won't fall apart. I tend to be stubborn about stuff like this.

basically you have to draw the line for being a no holds barred bunch in terms of lore and being assholes to other people if you endorse ganking you will put off many people on this forum simply because we are all sick of being ganked xD
