I want to see it, I'm hoping it's good but I'm doubting such, personally.
Also, Batman Begins doesn't get enough credit. After watching it again tonight, I think it's really impressive, and I almost believe that people will start realizing how perfect it is after TDKR - I think A LOT is going to tie in with Begins, and that it will prove an epic foreshadow of sorts.
If you really think about it, The Dark Knight is, in its entirety, an unplanned stop on the road - the Joker was just like, the biggest wrench in the gears, so to speak. What makes TDK is the whole movie is basically reaction to Batman - superhero breeds supervillain - and the grand scheme to 'save Gotham' on a macro level is kind of temporarily abandoned, if not only to deal with the single, terrible new threat (a more micro level).
Now, the ante is simply upped on all fronts, and while I'm not trying to argue that Begins is better than TDK or anything like that, I am simply saying that I think there's a lot more in it than meets the eye, and that this will prove true on July 20th.
So yeah, my rant about Batman Begins...clearly on topic, here.
