Infinity 6

Kings, Bed of Chaos, and Seath left. When I started out I really wasn't sure I'd be able to do it, but I'm so close! Gonna do some co-op and other stuff for today, probably finish off Infinity 6 tomorrow.

Hoping I can get past Seath without dying once this time. Amazingly, he's killed me at least once in each of the last 3 rounds. Those crystals touch me and I'm dead. Funny how much easier it is to keep them from touching you when you know they won't one-shot you.

Just Gwyn left. It's funny how nervous I am going into Gwyn even though I already know I can't block anything. I'm gonna go in with my +10 Fire Rapier, Hornet Ring, Red Tearstone Ring, and after each parry I'll hit him with a pyro... maybe Great Combustion, though I'll try Chaos Fireball first to see if there's time. I'm hoping 2 rip's will do it, but it might take 3.

He's just so ferocious, and my guy is incredibly fragile at this point.

Think I'll save it for later tonight.

Well Amos, at NG+6, soul level 6, I'd like to think that killing Gwyn is more than chance, LOL!

Is Power Within stronger than the Red Tearstone Ring? If it is then I could switch out RTsR for a FaP ring and maybe still be able to block the first swing of his weak attack.

I can't see being able to use them together, the RTsR activates at 98 hp for me, so PW would wipe me out pretty fast. Plus then I wouldn't be able to try out GCFireball since it takes both slots. Lemme know if you think PW would make up for that and I'll give it a shot when I'm ready.

Couldn't wait. You got me curious, so I went in with Power Within, hornet, RTsR active, and my Rapier, and did 3,584 damage! F-ing AWESOME. He kick-killed me before I could Estus up, but I went back and wanted to see if I could leave PW on long enough for 2 shots.

It worked.

Like the Red Tearstone I never use it because it's so op (plus it makes you look like Pigpen), but it is fun in a test-how-much-damage-you-can-do kind of way.
