Murakumo poise damage? Empty Murakumo poise damage?

Post by russiannightmare Fri Jul 13, 2012 12:53 am

Does anyone know what kind of poise damage the murakumo does? Murakumo poise damage? 2707236321

I was rocking most of the Giant's armor with Vamos mask and ornstein's gauntlets today in Anor Londo which gives me 70 poise and I was two handing a MSGS. So I get invaded by this person using a murakumo and he couldn't be wearing more then havel's gloves and leggings but not sure if either. Point being not massive poise equipment and didn't see the glow of the wolf ring either. So we meet bow and both two hand our weapons and Tee-off on each other and after two hits maybe three I get stunlocked and finished off.

Surprised you didn't get locked down on the second swing. It stunlocks like a GS, I think. Love that thing.

If he had less than 53 poise, you should had stunlocked him first, if he had more than 53 poise, two hits would be enough to stunlock him, but he maybe started to attack faster than you

Thanks, not sure what his gear was but I know it was at least 53 poise because I didn't stunlock him on the first swing. I know about the 53 poise break point with greatswords but it just seems the murakumo must have a different break point because everytime I go against some one using it and I'm using a greatsword I get stunlocked first. I guess it could be that my opponent started their swing first but this time it seemed like our hits landed on each other at the same time.

Probably has a faster swing speed then, but I don't know for sure.

You guys love your murakumo's more than Nu-13 and Lambda-11 love their murakumos.

True very true but that's the point of heavy armor is so I can just beat my opponent into a bloody pulp. wish the MSGS had better poise damage for the added weight of the weapon but same can be is for the massive stone sword, I mean they weigh as much if not more than some of the ultragreat swords for less poise damage.

A lot of the people I see using it tend to spam the 1h dash attack, and I can't blame 'em 'cause it's SO good. But seriously, man, you can go in locked off just trying to "follow" your opponent and dead angle everything that moves. I never get circle strafed when I'm using it. Ever.

And it's out of control with a buff. Virtually unstoppable.

I like the Murakumo, but find that initial first swing seems to take a while to come out...I tend to use 2handed in PvP with DMB buff, so it hits pretty hard, but find I'm getting poked with rapiers and stuff before I can get that first hit out. Perhaps I'm using it wrong??
