Post by ViralEnsign_ Sun Jul 15, 2012 6:47 am

Just a post about how I think this anime may become pretty interesting very soon and also asking if there are other shows kind of like this one.

    So

    1. Are there?

    2. I have to say for its genre this one so far seem to me to be pretty entertaining and not really as straight forwardly stereotypical as some shows are. I mean some of the best stories, in my opinion of course, are the ones that take you on a really long journey with heaps of ups and downs and so far i have to say that this one exceeded my expectations of it an actually makes me want to wait for next Sunday.

The .Hack franchise is extremely good, and the concept seems similar enough.

Well this needs a necrobump. Just started watching it (as in literally so I cant comment on it) and read the first manag. One thing I noticed is the first manga seemed really short and not much seemed to happen in it, so I'm watching the first ep in hope it gives a bit more info.

Well the first ep was the first 2 manga basically, so I'm wondering how there are 9 eps and like 7 or 8 manga. I'll see how it goes though. What are Gun Gale and Althiem?

Apparently either spin offs or sequels to Sword Art. Other Online games like SAO here players and designers take the game way to serious ly and people die and ****!

Though EP 9 was fantastic. I never saw it coming!

who knows? between 12 and 24. personally im hoping for 24 but thats not looking too promising.... they are on floor 78 or so about now.

PLus im also back into anime a great deal.

Ive just done another rerun of Toradora! Gotta love that (probs my 4th time watching it), also like mecha's so Muv Luv and Macross Frontier are good too. But what im really looking forward to is Dead Man Wonderland if that comes out soon....sad

This is probably the first show where the anime/movie/etc is better than the book. He actually has motivation and stuff in the anime, but the manga just skips it all.

I need to know which order to watch .hack in. There are like 6 different versions and I have no idea what they mean. Thats and maybe some of the FMA spin offs.

The order is: Sign, Legends of Twilight, Roots, G.U. trilogy, Quantum, and last is the movie that just came out. That's the chronological order of them

They're each their own separate story, and I don't really like Legends of Twilight and Roots. Still gotta watch the new movie.

Legends of Twilight is 12, G.U. Trilogy is a movie, and Quantuum is three 45 minute episodes. Roots and Sign are 26 each.

Gotta add that the first .hack PS2 series is the core of the whole thing (.hack series).
So if your're really interested in it then I suggest playing them too. Each of them comes with one episode on a side story anime.

And yeah SOA is good but I didn't watch the anime yet.

the .hack games are great! the old ones are good (stroys great but its old so the controls are a little cludgy) and the second group of games (G.U) are even better!
