The Dashboard Spam

Quitting the game to the console dashboard is getting ridiculous now! I've been invading in the Catacombs for the last couple of hours and at least 1 in 3 people have quit to the dashboard, and quite a few of them mid-fight after I threw Lloyd's Talismans at them. What happened to good sportsmanship!?

It's because you're invading. It's nothing like dueling. Expect the worst of the worst, and people WILL dashboard. And I get why. Questers don't want to be hassled. No sweat. Move on to the next one. I've had tons of people DC down there. It'd probably be even more prominent if it occured to most hosts to do it. As it is the majority of them just sort of stand there pooping their pants.

I don't really mind all that much, especially if it's before the fight. However, mid-fight after I stop them spamming their Estus flask, that's just a little bit sad lol. I think it's just because it happens a whole lot more now that it's starting to grind my gears.

During the mass invasions The darkstalkers do i got so many DC'ers its unreal lol just message them saying that dodgy connection must suck

I think if your a player trying to get the story done and ect then you have every reason to dashboard when someone invades. Is it rude? Yes. Is it the right thing to do? No. But the fact is if i'm trying to get something done and someone invades me I'm not going to be to happy either.

Currently the PSN is causing random disconnects. If you are starting to see an increase very recently, then I wouldn't pay it too much of your mind.

Yeah, as Ro said if a fight takes more than a minute, usually there is a DC for me, I can't even do Co-Op at all.

Also in regards to the Rep, people often just rep down things they disagree with, or things they agree with. A very poor way to use the system, but I guess they can use it how they want. If you want to check it, there is a thread all about how the reputation works.

Its ok, im sure the arena system (i cant bloody wait! me and my bro are going to kill... you... all!) will keep both sides from potting, or using humanity for heals. and if they leave you win!

If you are using any invasion thing other than cracked red eye orbs, then don't sweat it and move on. Heck I have to use them to get consistent invasions, its hell to buy them and then get back to level 3 in dragonbros (I usually BB glitch a new character, use the souls to level them up to the same level and basically just get them back).

Who cares if they DC? You don't lose anything, I still call it a win if they run to the foggate (and it wasn't like a join and then go home, like they see me and book it), or if they DC. If you don't feel the satisfaction from it, well, what can one do? I suppose you must go the their house in real life and duel them to the death, they can't dashboard out of that!
