Karmic justice...useless?

can't figure out its use ? not in pvp nor pve

If you get hit multiple times in a row, it'll cause a damaging shockwave around you that knocks back everyone.

I think it is somewhere in the realm of six-eight.

It's pretty diffucult to get it to activate before you're dead. It's mostly useless.

Personally i have never used it so it is useless to me, but i am sure it has purpose to an experienced pvp player.

I have been trying it with no luck PvE, figured it would trigger in ToG but nope. Seems useless. Takes a whole slot and only activates if you are done for anyway.

I thought it was two slots? EVEN SH*TTIER! Haha. Plus anytime someone starts to cast it I immediately run in to BS 'cause it looks just like the TWoP animation. Not on my watch, buddy.

another question, raising dexterity boosts casting speed ,right? i have 16 dex and it takes too long to shot a sunlight spear ,how many lvl should i add to noticeably increase the speed ? will 5 lvls do?

Well dex at 45 is the best for casting speed, so you might want to level it up a little more than 5 unless you are staying at a certain level.

It isn't useless if you are playing a tank build that doesn't DWGR. It doesn't count as a hit if it was I framed.

im sticking to sl 130 so ill leave it at 16.

45 is max and it makes a pretty big difference. Pretty much all the pyro/miracle projectile spells take forever to get off with low dex. Sorc seems to be fine without it though.

and what is DWGR?

PRO TIP: Best way to trigger it is by using a shield that blocks less than 100% phys damage and blocking consecutive hits. It could also combine well if you're practicing parrying.

EDIT: DWGR stands for Dark Wood Grain Ring, the ring that lets you backflip.

Anyone tried it against wheel skellies? It sounds like it's tailor made to counter them.

Couple with the Effigy Shield and it will prove to be a deadly force against invaders wielding Lightning Spear, Demon's Spear or Dragonslayer Spear.

Maybe I should try it out sometimes. I've always one-shot those things with my Zweihänder...

Not useless, but very unreliable. Don't count on it triggering, and when it does, treat it as an unexpected bonus.

I use it on Seath a lot, it blows up a lot and does fine damage, but its too hard to work in PvP, the not 100% shield advice is pretty awesome though.

as a matter of fact, ive tested it out twice on the ones in the catacombs. the first time, it only blew one up, making me whoop with joy until the other 500 just outside the blast radius came and showed me a thing or two about my insides i didnt know. the second time however, they all tried to kill me at once, thus showing them just how karmic this justice can be.

in short; itll work as long as you get every single one of them on you.

I was experimenting with it last night for the red tearstone/karmic thread (although I haven't tearstoned it yet) and found a pretty nice way to make it effective. Apart from the psychology. Show off that you cast it and a good number of people will keep some distance and tone down the aggression.

I haven't been able to get it to trigger in less than five hits, and they all need to be done quickly. It's damage is highly variable so if you can catch someone mid swing or from the side it's more effective.

Anyway, five hits.....five hits......like the Homing Soul Mass spell actually!

I scared the bejesus out of a guy last night. He cast Homing Soul Mass, I had Karmic already on. I rolled at him to dodge the Soul Mass, they clipped me, registering a "hit" but didn't hurt me. However the resulting explosion leveled the guy.

Can you combine this with Iron Flesh? Perhaps a good tool for gankers? Backup into a wall so you can't be backstabbed, and hold up a shield that has less than 100% protection? Then WoG spam them?

Edit: Does it have to be physical damage? If you have a shield that blocks 100% physical and 80% fire, and they're hitting you with a Chaos Something, will it go off?

Can't combine with iron I don't think. One self buff at a time. Mine triggered ^ from pure magic so....
