Who are they?
Malthael

What do they look like?
Gaunt, obscured facial features, a deep dark blue eye and hair color.

Where are they from?
Ancient lands... A now desolate hanging garden that no mortal can get to. Even Malthael can't ascend to these hanging gardens any longer.

What gear do they use?

Why are they in Lordran? What are their goals?
Rumor has it that the powers of the ancient gods are being twisted and abused. Malthael is in lordran to squelch these abusers with ethics, principles, discipline, wisdom, and strength.

How do they plan on achieving their goals?
Cutting down every last heretic or turning a few into a representation for what he stands for.

What will they do if they complete their goals?
Malthael will never be done. His aim is to wonder the universe in search of the one warrior to send him to previously said gardens.

How did they get to Lordran?
through descending on the mortal plane and craftly assuming the role of chosen undead. He can never truly become undead. It is but an illusion. He has descended into mortality though.

How long have they been there?
Only recently.

Why are they working with their organisation?
he ally's himself with the covenant of the dark moon's only because his masters created him with that mindset in thought.

How did they become part of said organisation?
His alignment is based off of forgotten rituals and practices, but the dmb's are the closest interpretation.

How long have they been with them?
dawn of time.

Who are their friends? Their lovers?
He has no friends and has only loved one. A godess by the name of Minerva.

What sort of relationship do they have with other cov members?
Malthael has an understanding that as long as he can do his thing he is permitted to act on behalf of the dark moons. A rogue or loose cannon as it were.

Who did they learn from?
Ancient long dead and transcended gods.

Do they have magic? How do they use it?
He relies on his faith in the old ways to both bolster him and maipulate time and space in a very short range and duration (aka: Twop).

What is their personality?
silent, modest, dangerously contemplative, and unpredictable.

I am having trouble choosing an appearance. Ominous is a must, but also samurai like.

Not sure how much this will help you, but what works for me is to think of what you know of the character. Then imagine what they'd look like and just describe the face you see in your head.

As far as traits, Ominous could be accomplished through physical appearance or through clothing. A hooded figure who's appearance is shrouded could appear ominous and still have a relatively plain physical appearance.

That is very good advice federally. I am trying to build off of the Dark Souls character creator though. I'm thinking about going with silver wild hair and eyes though?

Why? honestly it's best to go with your imagination then base it off the builder.

Also, silver/white hair isn't mysterious. It just gets gits asking you why you have white hair. No I am not bitter about my genes. No I am not gonna dye my hair or say I have awesome highlights. Yes people stop me alot, so will you leave me alone, I don't even know you.

Well in that case, read the descriptions on the faces and hair styles. Most of them says something interesting about the traits presented. Then pick the ones that fit the personality of the character. If they don't quite have the look you're after tweak them in the customize screen.

So you aren't done with high school? For some reason I thought you were older. What do you want to study in college? And how do you think you did on your SATs?

very much a uk thing, but pointless is great.

i am, had a gap year to get right result in one of my subjects and get into uni to do what i wanna do. plus i dunno what SATS are..

SATs are basically entrance exams for college. So probably the US equivalent to what you took.

our uni's don't do that for most subjects, one i do has got one/two though depending on where you apply. i did well on that though

Well they aren't a literal entrance exam for the college. Just a standardized test you take near the end of high school that colleges look at when you apply.
