For the Wiki (Centipede Demon)

Centipede demon: Cutting of the arm that he uses to Right Swing with causes it to become a secondary monster in the fight. I discovered this today while fighting him and noticed something huge crawling.

This isn't stated anywhere on his boss page and I don't know how to edit the info.

You can acctualy cut of EVERYTHING on the Demon. Arm(s), Tail and small centipedes on his back (Shoot whit bow.
Arm and Tail will turn hostile but when you kill them it will take 30-1min for them to respawn on the Demon itself. The ones on the back get's destroyed and comes back.

Anyone that can also confirm Jesters claims?

I've cut off all of it's limbs before, don't know about the centipedes on it's back though. Never even knew they were there. All the limbs go hostile after dismemberment, yes.

I've managed, in previous playthroughs, to cut off his arm and tail.

Interesting note, if you cut off one of his appendages near the fog gate, there is a good chance that it will end up on the other side of the fog gate. The limb came through and pushed me into the lava, killing me before I had a chance to put on the orange charred ring. This only happened to me once, but it did catch me off guard.

I can confirm it as well, that's what I do on my Demon Ruins/Izalith Co-Op toon to make it easier for the host every time. It's quite funny to see people react since none ever know it is possible.
