dI actually don't know this but, are the mouse and keyboard controls rebindable? I have a friend who has weird control preferences, and he can usually get past GFWL, but he has major issues with default controls.

Nah, the mouse has no branding aside from dark souls. Has red/orange LEDs, 5 buttons and a scroll wheel though
