Still not sure if anyone likes these, but, oh well...
This is the episode entitled - Winter Wrap-up. It features a very catchy tune and a very curious concept of needing to "wrap up" winter. You'd think the Pegasus ponies could just shine a bunch of sunlight down on Ponyville and be done with it, but, what do I know?
Anyway, here it is...

I gave him no peace. I don't think I switched him off once in his lifetime. But he's in a better place now.

Are you on a new one now, or just on a phone or something?

Brothers Macbook, for the time being. When I get back from holiday I'll get a new laptop.

Well, when I say his, i mean it's a laptop he stated using and no-one else bothered to take it off him, not that it's actually his. And no, it's ***.

Not to interrupt a conversation-in-progress, but you gotta give me some time to actually watch the episode again so I can comment before you change things up on me
Anyway, Winter Wrap-Up gets a 9.5/10. And only not a 10/10 because I refuse to believe that anything is perfect, and so never give 10/10's
One of the best episodes done to date in my opinion.
As to why they need to "wrap up" winter. ill refer you to 3:30 into this video (I don't know how to post mid-video links, just click to there yourself, ok ). In a world where the shift from Night to Day occurs manually and rain is a planned occurance, nature taking care of itself is not a commonly-accepted idea.
Anyway, it really shows Twilight's struggle to fit in, and I really like that it shows that you aren't limited to just one talent. And looking back on it, it actually kind of reflects my everyday life at work! Show up, ask someone in charge "what should I do," do that, then ask "what should I do" again until the day's over. Ignoring the facts that she messes up each chore or gets promoted to manager, it's basically the process I go through everyday at work
Oh, and it has one of the top 3 musical pieces in the entire series

It's alright, working in a school cafeteria is a little odd for a 21 year old guy, but it's got good pay, steady hours, and at least the older ladies are nice people as opposed to the fellow "disgruntled college-aged kids" in other "normal" jobs. I also get benefits for being a full-time employee so that makes paying the bills a bit easier.

Re: Brony Thread
What sort of kids do you deal with, dirty elementary school kids, verbally abusive middle schoolers, or thugged-out high schoolers?
Why'd you apply for the job anyhow, I swear I'd never would've thought to apply for something like that? I guess it's just my prejudices at work...

All kids, my full-time benefits are courtesy of having what we call a "floater" position, where I "float" between schools to fill in for other employees who couldn't make it. If nobody needs me anywhere, I go to the 6th and 7th Grade Center. I've never been called out to the High School yet, but I've worked with both elementary and middle school kids.
As to why I applied is really because my mother works in the school administration as an accountant and had access to the internal job postings before they went public, so I got to apply with a recommendation before anybody else knew about the job. I never would have considered it had she not told me about it, and honestly I was skeptical going in, but I've got rent to cover and needed a job ASAP. Ultimately, in the current job market, it came down to "accept whoever decides to call you back after applying first," so even though I had ~10 other applications going at the time, the school district called me first and I jumped on the opportunity.

Re: Brony Thread
I hear you, and I never knew lunch ladies (excuse the term ) "floated."
That's a new one, and it's probably smart too. Wouldn't want to get cafeteria workers to get burned out dealing with all the same faces day-in, day-out, having that liberty is probably quite nice.

HEY! I am a "Child Nutrition Worker" thank you very much!
Nah, when I tell people what I do, I usually say "lunch lady" as well. More people seem to understand what that means
Though honestly there aren't many of us floaters. I think I'm one of only 3 in the entire district. Most people stick to one location all the time, and honestly, I don't usually have my "floater" status in effect, so I'm usually at the 6th/7th Center anyway. Right now I've been at an elementary school for more than a week, but that's only because they had an employee quit so I'm there until they hire someone else. Usually I'm not "floating" for more than a day or two.

So, what's the mystery meat really made out of?
And I work stock at a liquor store, it's not the most glamorous thing, but if I'm going to do law school I need to work somewhere in order to just stay afloat.

Sorry trade secret
Nah, it's usually just some regular pre-cooked frozen beef or something. No different from any other regular low-to-mid-end food joint
At first I thought "working at a Liquor Store actually sounds cool," then I read "stock." Not much different than any other stocking postition then, eh?

That's beyond lame. Maybe you could...shall we say..."tweak" the numbers every once in a while on inventory for your discount?

Trust me, that's a lot of risk for very little reward. I'm not about to try that.
