1. pure dexterity to 99
2. pure dexterity (maybe some pyro) to 120
3. main char. dex pyro to 149
4. 2nd main. dex/mage to 149 - want to kick *** in the arena!

maybe my 40/40 knight to 120.

btw. over 60% of all 99 players will use a dex build with chaos blade. 120 is pretty mixed, with buffing and using unique weapons and 149 will be a lot buffing.

My main recourse against 99 is that I feel build used to be able to examine their weakness and use the wiggle room afforded by 120 to curb it. BSS is a good weapon, light and versatile but its AR isn't the best. Alot of people buffed it. Some weapons just cannot handle a body with a spear.

Yes it's possible to make even the BKGA work, or to buff the Mura. But that is literally all you are going to be doing with a build. It wont have character it will simply be a character. The BKGA build I posted might as well just be a floating Axe with stam regen. No Chameleon no twop no GC even.

well, yeah that's what a build IS. It's a toon that is focused for a specific purpose, be it pve pvp hosting dueling whatever. At a lower SL builds won't be able to mix and match so easily, meaning people will either have to master there 99 and know what they can and can't do, or make multiple 99s.

I hate how as the higher level you get the builds start to look similar, with the main differences being the weapon preference and if they buff or use unique (read; unbuffable) gear. 99 will give us unique builds that CAN'T be shifted around so easily to accomplish something else.

99 or 149 seriously i dont care. I just want to play against many players as i can. So if the hotspot is 99 ill go for 99, if its 100-149 ill go for 149. So easy

The DC arena has brackets of 50, so 120 isnt its own bracket.

Actually the DLC arena has

51-100

101-200

as brackets..

I swear there is a 100-149 bracket. They are meant to be 1-49, 50-99 etc.

im still gonna keep most of my sl 120 builds since you cant just join your friends in the arena since its random so if you wanna play with your friends youre gonna have to set up duels like we've always had. and for the person that said bss is weak try pressing r2 and youll see how weak it is, that thing can get up to 1k damage with leo ring and no buff(well, leo ring would be a buff)

I'm all for builds being different. 120 wasn't the popular level for no reason, look at the number of builds people use(d) Nearly everything was represented, greatclubs, great axes, katanas, spears, curved swords, piercing swords, greatswords, UGS, Pyromancy, sorcery, Miracles.

Take a 120 DMB/SLB Murakumo build and try to make it as Vit gouged as a Zaphander. It doesn't work. Try to make Velka's MLGS cast as fast as Dex Pyro... it wont. Str/Int ultra crusher CMW 1k+AR builds could not get clean GCs on Oki because their cast speed. Even Buffing the best dex+buff build (one that could get clean GCs on oki) wont approach 1k AR

dropping down to 99 from 120 takes builds are hyper focuses them. Instead of being a cooldude that would buff up an uchi and swap to SKS and Pyros when the timer was out, or a clever girl that used WoG/TwoP to cover the glaring sadface openings left by some of the heavier slow swinging weapons a build will focus keenly on exactly one thing, sidestepping the utility 20sl grants a person.

Wow Sl 100 ... so that means a mage have very low vit with poise or just no poise with low vit ...

It doesnt matter to me my main PVP build is a 220 and the lowest I go is 140

I'd like SL99, Mainly because it would stop those annoying buffs and make builds more unique. No more could people just buff their weapon and do insane damage.
