Basically the only nerfed this related to backstabs was the Hornet Ring. I think it's down to like 30% crit or something.

I have to say, as a big smelly backstabber with lists experience, the hit box does seem slightly smaller!
I keep messing up and slashing peoples backs haha!

the reduced hitbox is really noticeable. I fought a ganger host with his phantom over and over again and never got backstabed and had a hard time trying to pivot BS.
That and the reduced lag makes BS a much lesser concern than on console - love it

I don't think the damage was nerfed. I accidentally backstabbed a guy and did 837 damage. It was with a +15 Flamberge with 38 dex, but that's still pretty good damage. (The reason it was accidental is that he kept spinning around like an idiot as if to say, "Look how cool I am, I don't even lock on!" so when I took a swing at his face I got his back.)
