Can we rename the place The Archives of Spoilers? (Spoilers)

Cuz you know realistically that is the corner stone of most of the arguments in here. You have to spoil a portion of the game in order to stake you claim on a piece of lore you think fits. I think It would save a lot of time to just tag on (Spoilers) to the forum name so no one makes the mistake of thinking that this part of the forum isnt going to have any. Thoughts?

I tend to agree, in order to build and speculate on the lore you MAY need to spoil a segment of the story for other players. But if that's the case, every OP should just clarify for people whether their topic may or may not contain spoilers in the first place. Or people could just use their own common sense and finish the game BEFORE coming here.

The Dark Souls wiki is the best place for any information that a newcomer might need anyawy, and it's relatively spoiler free.

He meant DLC spoilers, not the normal game. It is entirely reasonable to expect spoilers about the original content nearly a year after its release. It is not reasonable to drop spoilers about content the majority of the forum won't see for another month.

More so this than anything. The DLC is the newest thing that a lot of people do not have access to. Its currently being updated on the wiki but even so not everything is there so there is a lot of information missing. I would figure that everyone that comes to this wiki and forum are coming here with basic knowledge of the game or are here to gain the knowledge they do not have currently. SO in that sense, for original content at least, they are expecting or want spoilers that may be said here or on the wiki.

Yes of course, but it's not hard for OP's to put a *Spoiler* tag on their posts, and you're not obligated to click any of it yourself if you haven't played the new content.

Granted, I agree that people posting this stuff may need to CHANGE the way they name their posts in the first place...

All DLC lore threads are being moved to PC Discussion to avoid the issue of spoiling things for the people who are consoles, while still using Spoiler tags in their thread titles for other PC players not yet at that point. If you see a thread that discusses PC lore in here, just report it as misplaced using the Exclamation Point button at the bottom left of each post, and a mod or admin will make the move.
