SCEPTILE!!!

Reaper that was the most terrifying poli-art I've ever... ever seen. I'd think that falls under overly grimdark rather than realistic

My top choices
Arcanine, Vileplume, Poliwrath/whirl, Golduck, Rhydon, Heracross, Granbull, ho-oh, Aggron/metagross, Driftloon, Toxicroak, galvantula, volcarona.. Although I haven't played black/white yet.

My Shedinja with Sturdy ability... that creature was the pure hatred^^

Yeah, thats why I'm asking. I can beat the main game with a party of 3.

PvP I have no idea. Always wanted to get involved but never found anyone who played it. :/ Can you play online now??? The only thing I would recommend is training your pokemon through the hidden values farming.

It's called effort values sorry. I used this to train my whole party. Through this method, my Gengar and my Ampharos had maximum EVs and a super high Special Attack. It's like min/maxing pokemon. A pokemon with natural high attack should only increase it's attack EV values. Only by farming pokemon that have specific EV values you can increase them efficiently. For example, farming Rattatas give you 1 EV value for attack power. Check out this wiki it has lots of info.

I can tell you one thing that is useful. Extensive breeding of your Pokemon until you find its best Hidden Power of an elemental type not expected out of that Pokemon.

For example, if your Charizard gets a powerful Grass Hidden Power then those Water-types that get sent out against it will be in for a world of hurt.

^Yeah combining counter elemental moves is another good choice. Example is Focus Blast for a Gengar, a powerful Fighting type move that is strong vs Normal type pokemon.

Get a lilligant with Quiver Dance. Win.
