[spoilers] hyper armor

Can someone confirm that it works, as in video proof if it. I was watching Icefang's. Stream las night and he kept getting interrupted by the crystal hollows in the archives. He was using the new axe.

The only weapon with hyper armor is from one of the new greatswords r2 attack.

that is the dumbest thing in the world, every single ultra weapon should have hyper armor

Don't buy it, it sucks.I completed the whole DLC in less than 2 hours, was too easy and not worth the money I paid for it.

yeah, it looks half assed. i was really excited about new weapons but when i saw them i was VERY disappointed, lame.

what kind of new weapons were you looking for? im glad they are all equally balanced with weapons already in the game with slight unique abilities.

all kinds(specially str weapons), i blame namco for making them do a **** dlc, they should be working on the next game instead of dlc. they couldvee just released a patch instead.

I really enjoyed the DLC, its understandable though if you don't want to buy it. Its a shame when something you love is removed or not added. If you ever need a fix you know you can ask me to do something, even the slightly impossible

I think the DLC looks awesome the new weapons look fun and the new armor equals 10 more builds for me its all a matter of opinion

i was actually excited about it until i saw it and but then the only thing that really wanted to me me get it is not even there, lame.

Can't believe that rant, that was the only hope for Str weapons. Guess I'll run medium roll....but we really need that hyper armor man. I mean, most of the Str weapons depend on the roll attacks and stunlocking. With the DWGR patch we'll have to choose between 0~21 poise fast roll or +53 poise medium roll. I would choose medium roll for UGS though, they are very good for stunlocking they are perfect for tanks. But I need fast roll for my great hammer / greataxes.

yeah, it really blows. im gonna make a dragon DGA build and a med roller for my DGM and see how it goes.

Does anyone know for certain if toggle escapes were patched? That would be a major boost for str weapons. I have heard a few people say it was taken out. I still have not seen the last two bosses of the DLC so im still excited for that, i also think the arena seems cool although not many people seem to agree. Maybe i will change my mind when i actually get to play it.

Chesters Armor alone is worth the $15.

^^ i gotta agree with that, plus the arena really does seem cool to me. A lot of people seem to really hate the timed aspect.

I'll be getting it, but only ONE weapon getting hyper-armor seems less like a new addition to the game and more like a special trait unique to that one weapon.

I hope it doesn't become the new BKGA.

I was gpoing to make a tracer/Abyss Greatsword build but the more information is released the more I feel like shelving this game.

How on EARTH is anyone suppose to swing a DGM now? I feel quite sad now. if this is true

with the stat requirements that low and that ar it will most likely be the new bkga, at least you wont get stunlocked by it, im actually making a faith build around it.

I just want to cry under my pillow. :x

i know dude, FROM really likes those dex weapons(specially katanas which is obvious why but come on FROM throw str weapons a *** bone!)

Well interestingly, I think I may try out the Black Knight Greatsword. What STR weapons do you like Rant? And why?

This sucks, 3 more hours of dragon scale farming my butt.
