@Jason having not tried the glitch I dont know but would DMB + TCC not be worse.
since you would get TCC's adjustment with DMB's multiplier and wouldent need to worry about the fact its cov restricted with the glitch...? or have I got things confused here.

Nope.... you can be a Chaos servant or GLS casting DMB. but it would only be +1 standard. So you may aswell use CMW.

but standard is 1.8 compared to CMW's 1.4 and you would get TCC maj adujst which is far greater than a tali's

May aswell Run an ascended Pyro flame xD

Then you can buff your BKGA... And use DMB BKGA r1 then a L1 of a GC

I didn't realize so many people's greatest weaknesses were backstabs.
I guess having an aggressive playstyle helps me out against them at times

Unless they're using the spider or Artorias shield you can use poison to punish there constant stamina consumption. After that, tank a hit or two and go for a running attack or kick the shield and go to town on them.

And, for some reason, I have problems dodging WoG.

Lag. Teleporting backstabs and getting hit WAAAAY out of the range of the oppositions weapons or spells/miracles registering when their clearly avoided.

Sunlight blade in the hands of smart people (Had to clairfy because I've had people charge me when I am two handing a zwiel, and just spam R1. They lose that fight very quickly.) Why does it hurt so much! WHY!

Spears and people who two hand the CB. I can dodge the first swing, but I always get clipped by the second even if I keep dodging.

Had to edit this post to point out that I'm fastrolling, as dodging hits with the DWGR is a nonissue.

My nemesis is the Dragonslayer Spear especially 2 handed its a force not to be underestimated . Its so fast and almost impossible to be parried due to its lenght .
I have trouble dealing with Pursuers too but just as we learned to deal with WoG we will learn to deal with Pursuers ^^

Spears - I have to bow them. I hope the nerf makes a difference but I don't think it will.
Gravelord GS is a bit of a problem i.e. the toxin is.

Mostly spears, bows, ultra greatsword tanks and fliping tansk wiith wepon buffs

I don't ever toggle/escape so, I usually just set my controller down if the Flamberge hits me 2 consecutive times.

Spears are quite the punishing weapon also.

Any weapon that manipulates lag more than the average weapon is just awful. Spells don't really throw me off though. I had a WoG reach me from ridiculous range just once so usually that's not an issue.

Any low level griefers annoy the piss out of me so that is my bane overall. Fair pvp though is the faster GS's like flamberde or MLGS.

Toggle escape parries can be incredibly useful. Look up a vid called "Garo Forest Invasions" on sansvie's channel to get an idea of how it's done. He probably does it ten times in the vid, and it's awesome everytime. It's not something you'll need to rely on a whole lot, but it's another technique to have under your belt when you need it. It's especially useful against UGS when you've got forever to spot the windup, so you can toggle the first swing and punish appropriately.

Curved swords and rapiers. I can parry all day, i can roll/pivotbs and I can role/velka's poke you to death. But when I go up against a fellow dex build all bets are off. And I'll probably end up dead.

The DSS and Demon's Spear. SK Spear I guess too. My best tactic is constant roll attacks with a bleed weapon, works pretty well if they don't know how to parry. Other than that, parries. I'm getting better at parrying spears too, roll parry is pretty effective.

The WP deserves a special mention too, that thing has every advantage in a fair fight and I hate fighting it.

If the dude using a spear can get away from my constant pivot BS spam, I'll go for a parry or two. Then I just eat it and move on.

Basically what I gather from this thread is that no one likes playing against spears.

I'd consider swapping out to a spear myself, if it wasn't one of the most boring weapon classes in the game.
