And a few questions: Is the guide still for sale? And have any new revisions been released after all the patches?

Yes, the guide is still for sale, but I've never heard of any revisions to it. Surprisingly, it doesn't really need any, other than a few updates to weapon/armor numbers it holds up. Considering the way it was made it's almost as valuable as it was at release.

It's fun to go back to it and remember my first playthrough. Looking at the Undead Burg map, desperately trying to find where that huge dragon that just scared the **** out of me was going to be, things like that.

I have this guide,I bought it the same day I bought my limited edition copy of DkS.
OK so it may be out of date with certain stat`s due to the games up date,Although FuturePress do highlight this and warn you.
But putting this aside I think it is fantastic,well illustrated with great index.Plus its hard back
This is the only Gaming guide I have ever bought and I do not regret doing so.
I bought it mainly to put with my limited edition game,sort of a package thing.
Also it is nice to have as a reference.
In my opinion it is a must buy for any DkS fanatic.

Yeah the PDF code they gave us showed you a fraction of the first part of the undead burg was a sham & a disappointment.
The whole marketing aspect was a let down on Bandi`s behalf if my opinion is to be known.

Yeh it was a total scam. If the guide wasn't included I wouldn't have preordered and spent the extra money on the limited edition. They effectively thieved from me lol

I got it too, and I even use it sometimes, but it is dated. Many things are old news in that guide lol

But it has a really nice design.

I bought the guide at launch and tortured myself by not looking at it for about a month (maybe less - I'm weak). I still reference it if there's a particular item I forget the location of and, fyi, it makes a really great mouse pad for your lap in a pinch.
