Killing Manus before Kalameet?

Does it change anything, and will Kalameet still be there?

Just taking my mage through the DLC and I'm desperate to try out *cough* Pursuers *cough*, but I don't want to go ahead and kill Manus and then mess things up lol and I think my 50 Int level 49 mage is in for a hard time trying to cut of Kalameet's tail

Kalamet will be there after you defeat Manus .

Optional Bosses have no effect on story. That is like killing OnS before going to Priscilla. There is no difference. =)

I can confirm this, as I killed manus before kalameet. Have fun with his tail by the way, by far the most annoying thing ive done, and questionably worth it unless you are just an item hoarder like myself

I've got Kalameet's tail on another character...I'm tempted not to bother with my mage lol, because that's going to be a pain. I was practising hitting it locked-off with Dark Bead in coop with someone though...it might work

Damnit, you can cut off his tail?! What about Manus's tail? I hit both of them a few times, but didn't get them off, so I didn't bother trying very hard... Kind of hard to hit them with the Painting Guardian Sword--no reach!--so I gave up sooner than I should have.

Haha I did it with the Gold Tracer...has a bit more reach You can cut off Kalameet's tail for the Obsidian Greatsword, but not Manus'.

Quick question: the patch removed the BB-glitch, right? No point getting things this toon can't wield if I can't BB-glitch it to a new toon anyways...

I swear there must be some way to cut off manus' tail... but nobody has, or at least hasn't shared if they did. Why would he have a tail if you couldn't cut it off? Damn FROM trolling us.

It could be useful if you wish to trade with another person if they have something you need. Just sayin'.

Nope. It just ain't possible. Someone confirmed it before it had been released on consoles. Even then i wanted to try it, so i hit his tail until he died. Obviously i got nothing.

I cut off his tail with great combustion lol. I still don't know how, but I managed somehow lol.

I haven't even fought kalameet yet, idk why lol.

Anyway Kalamet is my 2nd Favorite Boss fight in the game (1st beind O&S) because...idk its just epic

I just beat him, I like the boss, but god damn the whistle when he trys to inflict calamity on you or w/e. It legit hurt my ears, and the volume wasn't even loud. I was surprised how easy i got his tail, i did it solo. I think i just got lucky, cause for the rest of the fight he didnt do that tail attack. I did the fight as a Black Knight cosplay, it was perfect. Used the BK halberd.

The obsidian sword is bad ***, it really seems op from just messing around with it. Only 20STR/16DEX needed for max damage, buffable,R2 AOE has hyper armor....It's crazy. That AOE has some really good range and does good damage too.
