If you're having a hard time, just spend some time to think about what you like/hate. Something that gets the blood flowing, and just let the words shout! Give out a roar! SCREAM! SCREEAM! Sorry, kinda lost it. Shrug

Point is, of course, writing a poem is not hard, but you need the inspiration obviously. It's always easier to write one when aim at one certain thing only. For example, bullying maybe? If you were bullied as a kid, or possibly even now, all you could do is describe your experience in a well versed text. tongue

Nice to see some interest, just to let you and everyone else know, if you have any feedback about my kind-of poem, PM it to me, or post it in my thread. I would like to write more, and it would be nice to know what people think about them.

@Tolvo, I have no idea what "prose" means (and Google is not helping), but if it's poetic it doesn't matter the format.

PS: Where's your Avatar from? It reminds me of Magic: The Gathering for some reason.

The simplest way to put it, Prose is poetry without Rhythm. Or it could be considered nontraditional poetry.

I didn't write this, but a friend of mine did and it always really impressed me, especially as I never suspected him the deep thinker. It is actually a haiku:

Well, as the OP i guess my thought is what counts the most? So, yes, unless it goes against the forums guidelines?

I'd like to see anything though, whether vulgar or not.

If that's the case i'd just say it's even better for this topic. My personal opinion on music, poems and pretty much any kind of art is that, whatever is personal is of more value. And i do not say this with an intent to offend anyone, but i can, myself, enjoy anything artistic all the more if it's personal.

I myself wish to become a musician. Mainly a singer, and i value the text the most in music. Though i'm not trying to tell my life story here or anything. Just wanted to explain myself. Anyhow, that was a great poem as well!

Maybe we can work together some time? I'm a musician, but my voice sucks. so maybe we can complement each other? We would have to talk about music influences and such. I have no problem though, I love talking about music. Also we both write, so, that's a plus big grin

I'm afraid i would never dare do such thing. I'm shy. My curse. I honestly can hardly speak infront of my class, it's just way too hard. So i don't think that would occur anytime soon sadly, as much as i would like to do something like that.

I used to write poems when I was depressed, in this goth phase of my life. It was bloody horrible.
