7 foreign films I must see

i actually own battle field baseball... the guys who all die come back via cyborg tech at least 3 times... then die again if i remember correctly... so effing weird...

These all look amazing.....MUST WATCH!

I've got a small collection of B-movies, Japanese and otherwise.

A few that stand out in my memory:

Machine Girl (japanese)

Bad Taste (british, not as lol funny as some others, but the whole premise is so absurd and british that its one you won't forget, Peter Jacksons first film)

Zombies Zombies Zombies, Strippers vs Zombies (american, worth watching for one incredible scene, but the whole movie is a good time)

AAAH! Zombies! (american, a must see!)

Thankskilling (american, must see this thanksgiving!)

Battle Royale (japanese, a epic of b-movie cheesy carnage)



You can find these all on amazon for a few bucks a piece. A great way to kill some time on a weekend with friends who appreciate the finer things.

Can we please add Dragonball Evolution to this list? America has it's share of terrible movies as well.

Also, Battle Royale is GOOD! Most definitely not a B-movie.

I also enjoyed Battle Royale. I gotta see what Netflix has of these wonderful movies.

Also 'Detective Dee & The Mystery of the Phantom Flame'. Andy Lau. Hilarious.

if you look at the hunger games and battle royale you can see definate similarities... though im pretty sure battle royale came out before the hunger games books did....

Years I'd wager. Though I'm too lazy to verify it at the moment. I think I saw BR for the first time in like 2006 or 07 I'd say, and I didn't start hearing things about the Hunger Games until the last year or 2

I saw battle royale with my ex wife. We split in July 2006 so it was out before then

Zombies Zombies Zombies Strippers vs Zombies is a decent B-movie, worth a few laughs, but there is one scene in particular that I believe elevates to the ranks of superior B-rates.

I call it The Pimps Last Stand. You'll know when you see it.

I intend to watch it before I crash tonight. I'll let you know what I think of it tomorrow BTM
