The "let it out" thread.

Well she is sick, so standing up to her exactly isn't going to do much. But it is important for her to take her medicine, as while it doesn't seem like it does much, that's better than nothing and can help prevent serious episodes.

Yeah, I guess... I suppose she hasn't been really bad to recently so I guess it does help. (I really have a dislike of the pills, they seem to have a negative effect mentally over time. but there isn't really a better alternative I guess.)

Yeah, pills should never be abused. I actually avoid most medicine because of that. I don't just take pills for headaches. But for serious mental illness they are a necessity. I don't want to sound depressing, but if a person has serious bipolar issues and doesn't take their medication, they have a much higher chance of suicide.

Its fine, she has been in a suicidal state at one point but in general the full blown depression is rare for her. mostly I think I'm terrified of them because they always seem to be changing them and she nearly died from an abreaction to one type giving her neuroleptic malignant syndrome... Argh, simple solutions in life eh?

Yeah that is always an issue, my brother actually developed a form of Schizo because of a pill he took at an early age to help him deal with his Autism. Pills are useful, but you have to be careful with them.

The biggest problem is medications are a lifelong guessing game with the hope for some lasting stability. Good luck man that's a tough one

I hope things work out, and while it is difficult just remember she can't entirely help herself. So don't take her harsh words to heart.

I won't depress you anymore since there's not much I can add that's reassuring. I'll stop with this conversation after I just reinforce that the hostility is not an indicator that she doesn't care about you. You might never break away from the bad stuff fur very long but those feelings are separate. Hope we can add some laughs for you from time to time

i think thats a very dodgy post darkson, someone coming out as BI is fine but to actually questions someone sexuality could be taking very badly even if it was meant in jest
