Noticeable increase in Summons?

Despite the rumor that the rate of summoning has decreased recently, i find myself being summoned a ton of times. Just today, i got summoned with my Dex/Int build 9 times with Queelaag, 4 times with Iron Golem (i helped 3 players through the entirety of Sen's) and 5 times with Pikachu and Snorlax. Or is it just me?

It's Friday. There's always a huge increase in summoning rates during the weekends, I've noticed.

i think it depends on where you and at what level. i've been summoned a ton in some areas and almost never in others. i also get the most co-op pvp activity between levels 40 and 60, so i like to stay within that level range if i can.

The summons just keep coming until i reached SL54 against the last run for P&S. After that, it just kinda stopped. Farmed the knights for an hour but nothing. But thanks to the co-op, i get to be a Sunbro with no requirements at all! Praise the Sun! =D

Time of day is a huge factor. I find that in the mid to late afternoon Eastern there is a lot of game actiion, as everyone in Europe is playing during their evening. Then it dies off shortly after dinner for a few hours, then kicks in again later at night.

Something that does drive me nuts though, is that I find a lot of the coop dies off during the final 4 bosses lately. Maybe it's because a lot of people are moving into DLC areas after O&S...not sure.

I've only seen at least 2 summon signs in the archives when i was playing my tank though. Never saw any for Nito or BoC (not that you need any for the bed of sh*t). Haven't seen any for Gywn lately either. I wouldn't know about the DLC but i haven't played online in the DLC since the bug started.
