Re: Two worlds 2
I played it a while back. I really liked it and can't understand why it isn't more well known. Perhaps there was a lot of competition when it was released. One word of warning, if you go sailing, be prepared to be blown off course A LOT!

I was actually looking at this at the store not long ago and the guys who work there convinced me not to get it. Although they also couldn't believe that I liked DkS. Evidently it's difficult? Who knew.

From what I hear, its one of ethos games that you either love or hate, I might get it from the vids I've seen it looks kinda fun.

Every actual gamer I've either spoken to about it or heard/read talk about seems to like it. I'm not sure what those guys I talked to had against it.

I don't know either. For my money it's better than Dragons Dogma any day of the week. If you lived near me I'd gladly lend it to you.

Re: Two worlds 2
I understand why people don't like it. It's cheap. It's really really cheap.
I don't mean cheap like you get killed for no reason I mean loooooooow production values but to be honest it balances out by the amount of effort that clearly went into it. If you're used to fable or skyrim or whatever when you pick this up it can feel like a step back to ps2 days.
I love it though. The 8 player coop looks amazing :|

I don't remember it looking that bad. In fact my character looked a whole lot better than most of Skyrim's npc's.

Re: Two worlds 2
I've played it it's a really great game but unfortunately I gave away my copy.
Also I believe the reason why this game isn't that popular might be because of the original Two Worlds, which I liked myself, but it itself is notorious for it's framerate, voice acting, and a hard story-line to follow. I'd think if there was a single reason why Two Worlds 2 isn't popular is because the franchise name was hurt by the first game's release.

Bought the Collector's Edition and Strategy Guide of Two Worlds. the 12 year old me was severely disappointed.

It's very hard to get into the first one because the issues with it are massive. I'm just glad that the second one was a lot better than the first one and that it gets more praise among gamers.

Re: Two worlds 2
Just got back into Two Worlds 2 after seeing a thread about it a few months ago. I have to say, it really is a great game, though I can see specific people liking it far more than others.
Just got all my online characters up to level 35, kind of unsure where to go from here...

Re: Two worlds 2
There is no actual cap, it just gets too hard to level eventually. In singleplayer I got to level 60 and then ran out of enemies to kill.

Re: Two worlds 2
I bought a bunch of Cheap RPGs recently and this is one of them. I like it ok , question though are the frame rates just terrible or is my PS3 freaking out. Also does everyone have the game cut of a character in mid sentence? It does look about like Morriwind on PS2 but I can deal with that. I havent decided what to do with this one yet , forge on or return it. I am about 3 hours in i guess. Any words of advice?

Re: Two worlds 2
Be a mage. (One of the best, fun and most interesting magic systems in any western rpg.) Also the single player is pretty meh, with framerate drops, screen tear. But the multiplayer co-op is ridiculously fun. Also I hear the dlc is pretty fun (ships.) If you got the game of the year edition or whatever they call it.
