Thanks everyone. It was a lot of fun writing and scheming. The skariest thing is that those are pretty much exactly the personality descriptions for the Devastator members with only a few tweaks. Basically, with how well I think it fits, Fexatron and the gang really did choose Devastator.

With the reds and blues, besides Fex and E, I just went with best match or "thing that made me laugh the hardest"

Same E! I am always having to take a "second thought" on that word now.

So wait, I'm brainwashing more than one person? Well this begs the question then; how often are people seeing the word "scarecrow" that this is causing such mental anguish?

My city has a crow infestation problem, so more than you think.

That I get, we're having quite the issue as well. Although the crows seem to be decent, polite birds that normally keep some distance and will give you spare change from time to time. It's the ****ing grackles that make me want to purchase a BB gun.

Also, have they started talking about noise and light tactics to skare them yet? I know one town near here was discussing that (basically firecrackers and strobe lights aimed at birds, awesome!)


EDIT: Actual advice about getting rid of crows (with my commentary in "skarekrow" green)

"Successful programs combine techniques. Used together, each of these techniques reinforce the others to convince crows the roost location is unsafe (aka, "GET OUTTA HERE CROW"):

-Recorded crow distress calls (hint: "distress" calls are usually dangerously close to "mating" calls at your local supermarket).
-Pyrotechnics (loud noisemakers that sound like fireworks, or you know.....real fireworks....taped to the crow).
-Lasers designed to harass birds (this needs no commentary, they're telling you to use lasers on birds....to harass them....I like this idea).
-Hanging effigies (fake models) of dead crows (never the real thing (pffft....who doesn't want crow carcasses all over their house?)—a few fake Halloween décor crows prove surprisingly effective. (this technique is also called the "look what I did to your friends method" and works with just about any animal actually)"
