    Invincible-frames

They are moments in a roll action where you can be hit but do not take damage, however if you are hit in an iframe you still build up the bleed/poison meter. You can use this to avoid taking bleed damage with a well timed iframe roll to polish off your bleed meter.

DWGR (dark wood grain ring) presents the most amount of iframes in any of the rolls.

Edit: I guess you also get them from knock down and while backstabbing/parrying. Probably other instances I am forgetting as well.

Backsteps also contain a few I-frames.

Really backSTEPS? I'm going to have to play with that. Probably so very few its not worth it when you could just roll. But, the unpredictability factor with a backstep is intriguing. You mean like pressing the. 'O' button right. The little hop backwards.

Another place you get invincibility frames is if you make it to a fog gate and go to pass through there. But that seems bugged, sometimes i've been hit and hurt. Other times they just swing at air but to me the timing looks the same in both instances.

It really is only a few I-frames, but I've seen people put good use to them, especially with the DWGR. And yes, I mean the backstep when you press B/O.
