Fastest way to level a new toon?

So I screwed up my last one, and I need to make another one. What is a really good way to level?

Dark Anor Londo against those two knightesses, and Forest NPCs would be a decent start off point I believe.

co-op more than invading, many people are like me and suck at pvp, and the ones they do win give such a low amount of souls that the wait:souls ratio is very low
but farming is the most consistent (7k for forest in about 2min, and 10k in dark londo in about 30sec, that's w/o ring or symbol) but if you're content waiting, i'd suggest co-op

When you kill Gywnever you make the Darkmoons angry, when they get angry 2 respawning knightresses appear where the two Royal Sentinals were, standing next to each other, and yield 5,000 on NG and 15,000 on NG+ However this also makes the one by the bonfire at the start hostile and you'll find her by the turn bridge.

Jolly Cooperation in Anor Londo will net you 25,000 for O&S plus 500 apiece for the Silver Knights and I think a thousand for the Sentinals. That is summoning from the second bonfire.

the quickest/easiest coop farm spots is golem and 0+S

for some strange reason some players summon ghosts +tarkus for the golem fight although it is redicilously easy to solo, so use this to your advantage to net cheap souls. best place to put your sign is outside the boss gate.

for O+S the fight will be harder and you will have to clear more mobs to get to the boss thus risking your host dying either by the mobs or invaders. that said the best place to put your sign for O+S is the bonfire where you find solaire. If you choose to put your sign outside the boss gate most of the summons you will get will be for dark anor londo pvp... which actually also gives alot of souls if you manage to keep your host alive long.

The baby skellies are a good place to farm souls if you don't want to pvp. Most people think of them as only good for humanity farming, but if you put on the mimic head, silver ring, and evil eye, you'll be rolling in both humanity and souls in no time.

If you like pvp'ing and don't mind a little frustration, being a forest hunter can be pretty profitable. All it takes is a few really high-level hosts and you can be north of a couple million souls in a few evenings.

In the beginning of the game the forest and gaping dragon were the best farming spots for me.

Dark Anor is a good mid game spot to farm souls.

For late game you can't really beat invading or the skellies for the added bonus of dropping humanity.

Dark Anor londo phantoms by far the best if not for invading, invading is the best way to get souls and less boring.

I would suggest co-op in the painted world. If the host is done exploring and is ready for the boss fight it can be pretty quick. You also get a significant bonus if you kill King Jerimiah on the way and can get tons of souls very quickly!

May I ask what is the mistake you made?

Be aware that if you invade, there are tons of losers who will do everything they can to backstab you. It's fcking annoying, losers. They cant win in a fair fight.

If you like PvP and are okish on it I def. recommend waiting around in the forest (out of covenant and not killed sif), im up to 9 million souls now and started at lvl 60. The only hassel is to farm for humanity whenever I run out...

Don't forget the Silver Serpent Ring. Personally, I hate farming, and PvP takes too long. I usually swap out the ring when I beat a boss (plenty of time to do it). Do a speed run to NG+, then you can level up rapidly.

Do people really do that? Oh wait... now that you mention it, today I saw a guy standing still in the forest, maybe he was changing equipment or getting something to eat but he was taking too long...

Yeah its pretty generic really, but it happens all the time. I see people spawn in naked with no weapons just standing there all the time. If the host kills a DM or DW invader you get the souls too. So theoretically this is the easiest way to farm souls... So easy you can do it in your... sleep. HAH! *raises hand for high five* No one got that? Don't leave me hanging dawg!
