I used to wear the Antiquated set, which you'll notice puts me just under 25% for fast roll. I switched to the Lord's Blade set when I got it just because it looks too cool. I guess my question would be, how much difference would armor make (either going back to something lighter to fast roll, or something heavier that retains mid-roll) for this kind of build?

I'm pretty new to pvp so what I usually do is cast my spells at the beginning of the fight to check if the other player sucks (i.e. allows himself to get one-shot), and if he knows how to dodge then I try to melee (unless he stops to heal, in which case he gets a Soul Spear in the face).

Your vitality is on the low side, but viable. Midrolling with an uchi really handicaps you though.

So do you think I should switch to the lighter armor to get fast roll? Also, is there a better weapon for the right hand that you can recommend? Should I go with something bigger and heavier? I chose uchi because I was familiar with its moveset from another character which was a dex build. Thanks for your input!

I would max your defense and still be able to fast roll. Personally, I prefer lighter shields than the silver knight shield: grass, crest, dragon crest, and blood). Dex build are fast. Get in there attack, get out.
