Whats your favourite weapon?

My favourite weapon is the standard claymore +15 with cmw weapon buff. Its two handed attack stuns locks and breaks most guards in one hit. A devasting weapom even for PvP. Lately though I have been doing a Short Bow only callenge for fun and have been surprised how effective a bow can be against bosses, please check out my progress

The bow while no good for PvP is an excellent back up weapon, it helps players pass many tricky parts very easily making it one of my favourites. Still the claymore is number one for me.

I dont use the Claymore, never have never will. But I think its stunlock got nerfed into oblivion if I recall.
(when concerning pvp).

Sorry to hear you feel that way about bows. They are extremely viable in pvp.


My favorites would be the +15 Falchion / Velkas Rapier / Elemental Composite Bow / Man Serpent Great Sword

Pve preference...anything that doesnt interfere with my pyro.

Wishing pole. I know it's over use but I just really like to use it.
Other than that gold tracer or silver knight spear.

All rapiers and spears are good in my book. The Estoc, Velka's rapier, and demon spear being my favorite out of the group.

Oh! I can't forget the knives! Bandit's knife has always been there for me for my one-hit kill backstabs and bleed. The silver tracer does wonders too. And priscilla's dagger looks beautiful.

Gargoyle's halberd aaaallll day! i haven't used many halberds, but i decided to give this one a try and loved it! i love the move set, the damage, the buffability, everything.

a close second would have to be Ricard's Rapier. that thing's R2 is brutal.

THE LARGE SWORD OF MOONLIGHT

titanite Catch Pole - It's nothing special, but I like the way it looks and it is extremely rare to see. Therefore it is my favorite.

Love the Partizan and have loved the shotel since Demons souls. i also have a thing for Ricards rapier and Goughs bow

i know thiss doesnt have to deal with demons souls but im gonna throw my favorites of that game in here aswell! rune sword and phosphorescent pole

Hmm, I might be with you on the Claymore OP. In the right hands that thing is a monster and I rarely lose while using it. The Great Scythe and Halberd are up there, along with the Chaos Blade and Murakumo as well. I'm also a fan of the Black Knight Halberd and all the other vertical attack halberds. Great Hammers are another good class, and all the spears are good weapons but they're no fun to use so I won't include them.

EDIT: Out of all the weapons, I have to say that my absolute favorite is the Halberd. That's the weapon solely responsible for my 26 streak in the Arena, against all the tryhards and cheapos it could throw at me. That's the real acid test, if your chosen weapon stands up to the dirtiest tactics the Arena can throw at it.

The longsword. Simple and effective. The R2 thrust attacks works well in PVP and when combined with it's R1 attack I can kill in 3-4 hits.
Also the Falchion it's such an awesome weapon to use in PVP.
I'm also starting to use Ricard's Rapier it's the first type of weapon that relies heavily on thrust attacks. It's been working nicely for me.

Any bow and crossbow (except the Sniper). So yeah, even the Greatbows

Why the Longsword? Solaire's sword has the exact same moveset but more damage. When I use a straight sword I usually go with it for precisely that reason.

My favourite? Golem Axe. Good stats, good scaling, and a SHOOOCKWAAAAVE.

It's pretty cool.

Actually Solaire is the first NPC I kill in the game. I just think "if there is one person that needs to die first it's the one that still believes in the light the most" and, bam, Solaire is dead.

I've just never cared to upgrade it. I should, but I won't.

YEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHH!

I love the Gargoyle's Halberd for it's defensive fighting style and wide range. The Dark Sword is good for its awesome move set that can be used to stun quite well. I also just started using the Silver Knight Straight Sword, and I absolutely love it since it's actually slightly better than the Dark Sword. Finally, another weapon that I like would have to be the Murakumo. I recently started to try it, and I found it's move set just simply amazing.

Er wait, Golem Axe and Falchion are pretty good too.

Personally it's between the Abyss Sword and the Washing Pole. The Abyss because of the amount damage I can pull off and the washing pole because of the bleed and range.

For me it would have to be Ricard's Rapier or the Moonlight great-sword. I seem to have a lot of fun with those two weapons especially when someone who invades me has to come through a doorway to get to me and they don't know how to roll past the moonlights heavy attack.

Demon Great Machete, been using it since week two and I till love it.

Good point Rant, I forgot about ugs. I still prefer the other ugs like the greatsword and zwei because of better movesets and preference toward Q builds.

I cant really say because I use 3 weapons, but equally so Ill say they are all my favorite

Before the nerf I'd have said the Demon's Great Axe. Now maybe the Zweihander? I've been using and really enjoying Ricard's Rapier recently too.

I don't think anything's wrong with the Claymore, except that it's overused, and actually I don't even know that I'd say it is anymore. It's relatively fast, doesn't weigh a ton, doesn't have much of a stat requirement, hits hard for it's weight and stat requirement, is easy to get, has an extremely functional moveset for several situations, outside of being parried, and looks cool. What's not to like outside the fact that everyone says they don't like it because so many people use it? Before the nerf it was fast too. The Great Swords also stunlock fairly well.

Actually I think the Zweihander is my final answer. It's the only one of the three I chose that's good for both gang bangs and 1v1's, where the other two, especially R'sR, are more situational.

Great Scythe, Black Bow, Priscilla's Dagger and Gargoyle Tail Ax in that order

second favorite has to be the bkugs, i like the zwei and the gs but the bkugs is so awesome.

^ I tried to get into the BKUGS when I was making my last STR tank, but I just couldn't do it. With my setup I had about 50ish extra AR with it, but I just didn't like the R2's. I don't think I ever would have used them, whereas with the Zweihander I use em all the time.
