The Last of Us and other games

Is anyone else here preordering the this goddamn awesome game? There's just something strangely unique about this game compared to other post-apocalyptic zombie games.

And for that matter, what other games will you guys be getting? I'm anxiously waiting for the next Castlevania game to be released!

I'm am drooling all over The Last of Us. I want it so baaaaaaaaaaaaad.

Watchdogs does look like it's going to be epic. As for The Last of Us I'm afraid I don't know to much about it.

The Last Of Us will now be released on PS3 on 14th June 2013, developer Naughty Dog has confirmed. It was originally slated for release on May 7th.

Writing on the PlayStation blog, the studio’s creative director Neil Druckmann explained that the team needed a little more time to match the high expectations for the title, and that the game will feature the “easily the longest campaign Naughty Dog has ever made.”

“As we entered the final phase of development for The Last of Us, we came to realise just how massive Joel and Ellie’s journey is,” he said. “But instead of cutting corners or compromising our vision, we came to the tough decision that the game deserved a few extra weeks to ensure every detail of The Last of Us was up to Naughty Dog’s internal high standards.”

“The extra wait will be very short and your patience will be rewarded. Update your calendars. You won’t even have to change seasons. The Last of Us will be available 14th June 2013. Until then, know that we will be working extremely hard to deliver an experience that matches your high expectations.”

Yes! This is what i like to see. Instead of pushing unfinished products out the door just to meet sales numbers, they've decided to take their time and make it a masterpiece. Good Job, ND!

Also, anyone getting Soul Sacrifice when the NA version is released?

I'm certainly intrigued by that one. Very tempted. Only problem is all the other games I think I might want to play (Souls Sacrifice, Tearaway, The new GTA, my very large PS+ backlog)

EDIT: Automancer, it's supposed to release a few weeks before my birthday. I imagine I will say I want it for my birthday

I'm really enjoying the approach and artistic direction they're going for with this game. Yes, i'm an arty nerd. :|

I preorded the Survival Edition. I'm all right with the short delay, lets me have more time on getting the little more cash I need to finish paying it off. A lot of the games that I want don't even have release dates yet. Dark Souls 2 is an obvious choice of course but other games that don't have release dates but I want are Dragon Age 3: Inquisition and the Last Guardian. Dragon Age 3 has a lot of promise judging from interviews that have said that most of the new areas will be larger then what DA2 had. Plus it sounds like they might be going back to DA:O's combat system, which dispite being slower and a bit dull, I find it better then DA2's button mashing. The Last Guardian just has been on my list forever but with all the delays it has been a long wait. I'm also interested in Watch Dogs though I want to see more of it before a final verdict.

I'm pretty stoked. I don't think I've ever played anything by Naughty Dog that I haven't enjoyed, and throwing zombies into the mix is never a bad thing.

Speaking of them, I just finished Uncharted on my Vita. Holy Crap that's a great game. I think I have a new video game favorite leading lady too. Hooray for realistic character modeling!

Is the Vita game a port of one of the originals, or is it an original game?

A prequel apparently. It was my first Uncharted game

This game gives me another reason for me to want to trade in my Xbox for a PS3. :|
