Friday Night Fights - SL120-130, Anyone interested?

I could only do a few fights last night. It was me, umbasa, and dave. Dave came in and told me my HR Rapier was harsh. I told him that a HR Rapier BS is probably on par with his LC's BS with no HR. We tested it, and he outdamaged me by about 30 points. Further justification for the HR for rapiers (since their regular damage is poor). I told him that there are no rules for this FC (other than no glitching like spell swap). He said OK. Then proceeded to chain BS me to death. Well played, dave, well played.

Happy Friday! I will be hosting PW starting at 7pm EST. Don't know how long I will last tonight (insomnia is starting to get the best of me), but I will be there for awhile. Hope to see the ground littered with red signs, from all the great fighters who have joined us before.

The thing is OP, while you can allow chain BS and tickstab, you don't want people who are willing to chain bs and tickstab in a FC because people who do those things in duels are douchebags. Also, there's no way to "counter" tickstab, it's free bs damage on top of a stunlock.

I can see why some people think these tactics are rude though, tickstab combos can be devastating. However, i find it unbelievable that some people here have played this game and known each other for over a year now, and still can't step out of their comfort zone. I think this fight club is fantastic simply because there hasn't been one like this before. I would like to be there tonight but i hope it's not gonna be another whining session.

It just boggles my mind how a lot of people are completely unable to widen their view of ways to have fun in this game. You shouldn't need an excuse like "yay i'm roleplaying an assassin" or "yay i'm a darkstalker" to do this stuff. So if you don't like the rules, please, don't participate. This FC is unique and i hope it stays that way.

Don't talk about "widening my way to have fun" I know exactly how to chainstab and tickstab and it's been done to me enough for me to know that playing with those things is not fun, whether I am on the giving or receiving and of them. If someone chain bses me in a duel I will do something equally nasty back to them and that makes the duel less fun for the both of us.

I wasn't questioning your skills and it would be impolite to say i know what is fun for you. Just like it is impolite to say someone is a douchebag because he's doing something you don't like. I got chainstabbed in the arena a few times and it surely caught me off guard. But the next time i fought those guys i knew what they were trying to do and it was just as fun for me to try to avoid those tactics and even punish them for it.

I don't think chain backstabs should be brought to every type of pvp, but i see no reason why there couldn't be a FC where they are allowed.

@Ghadis....you don't like the rules, then you dont have to participate. Everybody has a blast in our little FC. No rules is fun to us. You like rules. Simple enough, play with like minded people.
