Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate!

So I've pretty much stopped playing Dark Souls and I'm now a Monster Hunter addict. Both games are great but I'm just burnt out on Dark Souls atm. Still really excited about Dark Souls 2 though.

So is anyone else picking up the new Monster Hunter?

My roomie got the demo and after just a little while with it I've pretty much convinced myself I'm getting it ASAP. I'm assuming the demo characters are all decked out in super awesome gear, and even then we couldn't beat either of the bosses on it. It'll be great having that sense of challenge back into a game. Though it will be my first MH game so I guess I'm still just kinda jumping in blind

Well, I was going to get it until my sister decided to borrow my Wii U indefinitely so now without a suitable platform I guess I won't be getting it for at least the time being. :|

im getting the 3ds version, apparently its online compatible with the wii version too!

I'll be picking up the 3DS version, I'm extremely ready to do some solo hunting.

I want to buy this game so bad but that would mean buying a 3DS, and I'm not too much of a fan of mobile game devices. If I'm out of my house I'm probably not going to be playing video games.

Why buy a 3DS when you could buy a WiiU for it instead!

I don't have either, it's a shame because the game looks beautiful. I just saw it a few days ago at my gamestop it looks like an open-world game, is it?

If I ever get the money I might buy one to play this and Skyward Sword.
