I've heard that about battleship Tolvo. Now if it resembled the game at all I bet it would have not been fun. So I present the new Mortal Kombat script:
Rather than a martial arts tournament the setting is an office building. A group of compassionate employees are trying to convince their ruthless coworkers to stop trying to take over their world ( break room). Brenda ( codename scorpion because she's known to tell it like it is, no matter how much it stings) pairs off against Carl ( codename Sub-Zero because of his tendency to drink his coffee ice cold an hour after he made it) square off in an epic scene in the mail room which leads to human resources having to step in after Brenda calls Carl by a few derogatory names.

I fell asleep during Battleship, I didn't care for anything in it except for the aliens.
I liked how they wouldn't attack anything that wasn't a threat, and the only things they did attack had weapons. I thought they would explain that or go into detail. Like they weren't actually a race bent on complete violence but only when it was necessary.
Also their designs were incredibly dumb when they had their helmets off.

Come on Grin, the World War 2 Battleship scenes were absolutely hilarious.
I also loved how they actually set up a grid for them to fire across while keeping their ship hidden parodying the game.
Even though, you know, logically the aliens could literally see the ship firing at them.

I really didn't see the part with the world war 2 ship, I was asleep at that point.
I did think it was kind of funny when they started parodying the game though, as stupid as that logic was.
