Putting some hearts at ease

I re watched the game play ... again and watched for the enemies to be at the bottom of the ladder after the player had died the first time.... they didn't come . Everyone is kind of worked up about this and I understand BUT what is the enemy was patrolling and the player was in the line of sight the first time and the fight with the first enemy drew the attention of the second BUT the second time the enemy was father on his patrol path and the player did go the opposite direction just removing himself further from the enemies line of sight . BAM
