I suppose I may as well say it here, I may be taking a break from the forum again. The recent trends towards demonizing play styles and trying to force mentalities onto others is really bumming me out and I just don't want to be around to see this forum go that route. I might stop by every now and then but it just doesn't seem worth the grief to come anymore.

I honestly think it's just a select few posters and that one needless thread. I wouldn't really call it a "trend" just members writing obvious bait posts in the hopes of eliciting impassioned reactions.

I'm noticing it more and more and I'm noticing more people agreeing with it. It seems like a trend to me, and while there have been many trends I dislike on the forum this is one I just can't ignore.

I would advise you to write a counter thread (I'm sure you'd see a lot of people agree with that philosophy as well), but that just might make things worse.
