I usually write where's a bonfire if it's hidden, or an illusory wall.
Edit: warnings about traps, too.

I always write "try left" before the Solaire-bonfire in Anor Londo, 'cause the first time I finally passed the Archers all I could think about was "where's the bonfire where's the bonfire I NEED A BONFIRE!" and then I read a message and I still love the misterious guy who wrote it.
I rate them too, but when you read a message all it says is how many ratings it got and not if they were + or -
I know! If they're doing a DLC I want them to add the "I'm in trouble, rate this message" 'cause I miss it

I left so many messages myself but I never recived any vote

I received a vote once, because I was co-oping with a friend and I found one old message of mine (beware of mimicry" ) and he rated it,

Yeah, I always try to lead people to important secrets, especially in the really confusing areas. Such as I always leave a message on the strut that leads to the Cathedral in Anor Londo, I actually had to check the wiki to find out where to go after I killed that first Gargoyle.

I always wondered if it's very funny leaving the "Try Jumping" message in places where you obviously die if you jump.
Probably yes, 'cause there's always a bloodstain of someone who jumped.

Did you know some messages change in the translations?
For example, I play the game in English, and the message is "need ***" and I always though it could mean both "I need" or "You need", while in Italian it says (translated) "You need ***"

Edit: OMG now I totally want to know what is the italian translation of "grossly incandescent" and "jolly cooperation"

"You need _____" is actually probably a bit better of a message to leave.

YES! It's also like that in german, I hate that!

It took me a while to figure out what all those messages were about, you know, those near a bonfire that say "need soldier/knight"! In german it says "you need soldier", or "you need head".

It sucks, because in english it's all just "need" for all personal pronouns, except "needs" of course, well, it's not that easy in other languages, you gotta choose a person for the verb.

But I hate that they changed "New Londo ruins" to "Petite Londo" in Italian Luckily, as I said, I play in English.
Petite? Why in french, and why the hell you should call that place s"little londo"??
I wonder if the original japanese name is closer to the english translations or the other one?

Anyway, when I try to explain things to my friend, playing the game in italian language, it's impossible! Like "which ring does this and that?" "uhm... the one with a dragon on it, that looks like the other one..? Under the one you used earler!"

You could also get a bow and use a bunch of arrows to kill ghosts from afar.

Don't you have like, an enemy or particular place you s**k dealing with, while others kill them easily? (not talking about bosses now...)

(They're also dropping me a thousand ghost blades and 0 transient curses)

Remember that you can hit them when they are coming out of the ground, so for example, when you reach the top of the stairs after beating the first two ghosts, you can hurt the second two during their rising animation

But I'm stuck at the entrance of the building with Ingward on top. There are stairs outside and you can fall off on both sides, for some reason something always pushes me...

Lots of people have problems with drakes.. I don't.. I'm always the one going to farm scales for others

Drakes positively destroy me , I'm pretty good against ghosts though, though I am still a ng noob...
