Re: New Gaming PC/DayZ!!!
I left them an email and will be calling tomorrow too.I will say that the PC is huge,it's about 3 times the size of my old one and weighs about 11 kilos. If I can get it working,I'll be able to play anything I want on at least high settings. :|

Re: New Gaming PC/DayZ!!!
do you know the specs? most important thing is the CPU and the video card. I can tell you what setting to run it on also if you want high res character detail you have to buy DLC

Specs are in my original post. The only thing I forgot to add is that the processor runs at 4GHz with a 10% overclock.

Re: New Gaming PC/DayZ!!!
alright most of the stuff is top of the line I would have gone with a I7 personally but with those specs you should have no problem running it at 40 to 50 frames with everything set to the near max

Re: New Gaming PC/DayZ!!!
The I7s are usually more expensive which is why I went with AMD.I can upgrade the GPU if ever needed, that's why I went with so much RAM and processing power,I won't have to upgrade the rest.

It's all about the GFX card. AMD's grand.

670's moe than fine, only time you might need more is multiple screens or a bigass screen that does much higher than 1080.

Re: New Gaming PC/DayZ!!!
I run my PC off of my HDTV.I can put it lower if needed but 1900 roughly by something else is the resolution that comes out smooth.I don't need every special effect games have, all I'll want is decent textures and high draw distance.I prefer practicality over looks.I think I'll be fine on new games for a few years, that is if I can get the PC to work.I'm on the forums on a laptop now,oh well.

Re: New Gaming PC/DayZ!!!
I take it you haven't read page 2.I had Overclockers build me a custom one, specs are on page one.It was delivered today and won't output audio or video when turned on.It just sits there, fans spinning, lights on and does nothing.Neither my mouse or keyboard activate and there are no error beeps from the motherboard.

Re: New Gaming PC/DayZ!!!
The mouse and keyboard lights don't turn on.I've got like 8 USB ports,I tried them all.I've been very mad all day as this has ruined my weekend before it even started. It just doesn't boot up at all.I tried putting in the GPU driver and Windows disk, not like I expected it to help,it didn't.

Take a look inside? Sounds like the mobo, if it was anything else you'd get some sort of activity.

Re: New Gaming PC/DayZ!!!
I can't poke around inside or they will tell me I broke it myself and the won't replace it,fix it or tell me how to.I'll be phoning them tomorrow to see what can be done,I pity the support rep that tells me nothing will be done. They will be permanently deaf from me screaming down the phone at them.

Re: New Gaming PC/DayZ!!!
I have an update/rant.
After calling today twice,I was told to take out the motherboard battery for 5 minutes to let it reset and later told to try a VGA adapter instead of HDMI.I did both and also reseated the GPU,it still displays no effing signal. Now I have to wait until Monday or Tuesday(Not sure if England have a bank holiday too) just to call and be told to do more stupid crap.
Why the f*ck is it so goddamn difficult just to get a working computer!? One would think paying a hell of a lot of money would get you a product that at least works.I'd have been so much better off just building it myself.I've wanted to punch someone all day,I'm so angry about this.

1. Make a really bad computer
2. Make it cost 999 bucks
3. Sell it to some idiot
4. Wait until parts break
5. ???
6. PROFIT
