way to the depth...

Hello folks,

do I really have to kill the Goat Demon or is it also possible to go to The Depth via Blighttown? Since I'm already in Blighttown (went to Blighttown via valley of the dragons).

Don't think so, was never bothered to go the whole way through b.town backwards to find if that door was locked or opened.

It'll be locked, so if you want access to The Depths you better get your goat on!

The reason not to kill the Goat Demon is not because it is to hard but because I thought it might give me another area for pvp with having intruders.
This results in a further question: what is the area of this Goat Demon?
My Taurus also still breathes the undead air so it gives me the area of Undead Burg for intruder pvp.

Capra area is generally dead pvpwise, there's some but not much, usually kill him first area's too narrow for my liking. Taurus area is fairly brimming alright.

From what I remember exactly even if you were in blight town there is still a jump that needs to be made in Upper B-town. So if you were to try to get to the door leading to the depths (which would still be locked) it wouldn't matter there would still be a large pit preventing you from going further. Unless if there is a ladder that I'm not aware of.

You can go all the way from the swamp to the Depths door, but you will find it locked

Me too, fortunately I wasn't really counting on it being opened. However, it did mean hanging out in upper Blighttown for no reason. And unless you're picking up PW or the Iaito the phrase "hanging out in upper Blighttown for no reason" is redundant.

Besides, Blighttown is the worst place of gaming
I probably ran in circles/died to dogs/gravity for 3 hours or so, it was really late, i was all hopeful and stuff, and then "Does not open from this side"

^that sounds terrible.
