I've done some testing .
I tested how Power Within affects our Bare Hands .
I tested it against the Hollows near the Sunlight Altar .

Bare Fist .
L1 1 DMG
R1 2 DMG
R2 2 DMG
Rolling Attack 2 DMG
Running Attack 2 DMG
Jump Attack 3 DMG
Backstab 1 and 4 DMG (I'm not sure wether it's 4 or 5 Damage)

Bare Fist with PW 

L1 1 DMG
R1 2 DMG
R2 3 DMG
Jump Attack 4
Running Attack 3
Backstab 1 and 6 

Bare Fist with Thorn Gauntlets and PW
L1 5
R1 6
R2 7
Jump Attack 4
Running Attack 7
Backstab 1 and 6

I assume that those values apply to a Player too . 

Now, if we use the Calamity Ring along with Power Within, the Dusk Crown Ring and use the Class with the lowest VIT (Sorcerer) I think that the Battles sjould be over fast enough . 

Thoughts ?

Right now I'd have to say I'm just curious about what the effects of the calamity ring will do. After that though I think we can start setting up a date for the event!

Seen a lot of good ideas bounced around in here!

Still long-ish when compared to your standard PvP encounters but probably workable with such low stats.

The Sorcerer has around 250 HP with Base VIT and the Dusk Ring .

With the Calamity Ring equiped he will (theoretically) take 12 Damage from the R1, so that's around 20 Hits .
If we ban Rolling that shouldn't take too long (Backstepping is allowed) .


Again, we need to test all this with a Player first... 

No rolling is an excellent idea. Though it may prove to be a difficult habit for some players to break, at least in the early going.

Don't think otherwise, I definitely refer to myself. 

I never really tried fighting without rolling so it's my first time too  .

Did i forget anything ? I think the SL doesn't matter as long as the VIT stays at Base .

We probably shouldn't allow chainstabs either. I would say the SL should be 55 or somewhere around there since players will still need to grab the calamity ring, the dusk crown ring, and the thorn gauntlets. 

Other than that I think we're ready to make an event page. What were you all thinking for a date on this?

I'd like to have it soonish, maybe August 5th to August 7th ? That would be ideal for me .
However, considering that i'm pretty much alone on the PC i would rather have that you Guys decide .

After your event we should get together in a chatango and see if we can hammer out the coop idea. Suggestions are welcome! As are any other ideas you all might want to try out.

Alright for event dates, I was thinking we should do it around the 17th or the 24th so we can give non-members time to get a build ready if they wish to join. Not to mention if we want this on the PSN calendar we are going to need to tell Fex at least 2 weeks in advance.

Would anyone be opposed to this?

If I recall you need to give Fex 20-days notice. Unless it has changed. Glad to see your utilizing the option Fex has provided for us all!

Ah, yes it's 20 days in advance thanks for the reminder Ahho. So I'd think the best date would be on the 24th or 31st instead.

Yeah, you guys can do the official stuff with the PSN Callendar and so on .

However, i can't for the love of f*ck test this sh*t, nobody is online and when someone is online they don't want to help.
And doing this with a Random is pretty risky .
