So fingers crossed after 20 odd years of wearing glasses I will no longer need them after June 15th. Went for a laser eye consultation today, eyes are screwed at the moment they've been fully dilated for the past 4 hours due to the drops.

Must be a right pain to have to wear glasses or contacts every day.I may need them in a decade or so,I imagine sitting two feet from a HDTV every day must fry eyes.

The procedure was slightly scary actually. Won't go into detail though, want to keep it a surprise. 
Besides, I wouldn't be able to go into much depth, it's better to look it up on how it specifically goes.
The chav bible requires a load of time to be thought about. This is the place, but I'm stuck on it for now.

It's inconveniencing at best. I dislike not being able to see anything past 20cm and how they can chafe the top part of my ears, but other than that I can live with them.

Only my right eye is bad but not severe thankfully. My left compensates for the right and I won't notice anything unless I close my left eye.

Is there some kind of condition or just genetic? I mean about the right eye. Sorry to ask, I was just intrigued.

Genetic. Both my parents can't see far and wear glasses for various things. Of course they are older than the normal age of parents who have children.
