    I always thought the emotes were just kinda bland. I'm not one who would use the voice chat all the time if it were implemented. I like the emote concept, but they seem rather lacking imo. Here's a couple ideas I would like to see:

    1) Invader gestures.

    I dont want to sacrifice an attunement slot to "draw aggro". I would like one gesture to have the enemies walk over to me, and a seperate gesture to tell them where to go. Nothing to complicated, but if i did this: Beckon ...

    ...followed by this: Point Forward ...

    ...it would be supercool if the AI enemies and/or NPCs started going that way.

    2) Faster utility emotes.

    As far as pointing somewhere, beckoning, bow greetings, etc...I'd like to see them a little faster is all.

    3) Slower more creative vanity emotes.

    Nuff said. I'd definitely like to lick the blood off my sword after beating some gankers. twisted

    4) Emotes with sounds.

    I know it sounds kinda off the wall, but how many times has a phantom run off and you "beckon" only to have him/her blindly go charging in when you were going to give him/her something cool, or were waiting for another phantom?

    I'd like to see some emotes that say, "Hey wait!"..."Over here!"...or "Waiting for someone". I think they could be creatively crafted to allow for a lot to be said with one gesture.

    Those are just some random ideas. What about you guys? Any other ideas?

    We need extra emotes for different genders too.
    A girl's Proper Bow should be replaced with Curtsy.

    I wouldn't mind a Key Item that gives you someone's voice when you do you're emotes. Like Goughs' Stones, but instead of an item slot it would have him say "Hello!" When you wave or something like that.

    Thats not bad, but I thought the idea of combining the carvings and emotes woulda been kinda cool.

    It would also be cool if they would draw aggro to yourself if you used the "voice emotes" near enemies.

    lol! I guess someone REALLY hates the idea...meh Shrug

    However, it would be nice to know why its a bad idea. It very well could be...or at least have errors in the concept pointed out so that the idea can be refined...oh well. :roll:

    I also posted this in another thread, but it might belong here since it relates to emotes.

    I wan't to use emotes while standing on top of a message or a summon sign (and other stuff you can interact with).
    The emote animation should also be interrupted by any action you do on your controller, instead of locking you into the full animation as it does now.

    I agree with the forum lord you should be able to break out of bows. It would prevent such things as the old bow then smash them with soul spear when they return the bow. And we could use some more emotes but i am not sure about sound. In the main story out character never speaks only grunts when falling and such and i think that adds to the dark atmosphere of the game. maybe if the hello wood was an emote not an item? That i think would be a better alternative.

    I'd like to be able to emote that I don't want to engage in PvP with an invader. It would be great if an invader could be told that I am trying to solely focus on PvE, and also hilarious if they ignored the emote and iced me anyway.

    I would like more interactive emotes. Like taking the hand of an npc\ally and kissing it.
    Or chest bump and High fives. If you wanted you could leave em hanging.
    Head butts would also be cool.I would also like to see angry emotes.
    And lastly face palm.

    I really want there to be a new fuel initiating emote. Like having the player spin their weapon then hold it Obi-Wan style over their head, pointed at the enemy. That would be pretty awesome
