Is anyone else worried that they chose to show different classes gameplay? I mean if I start a Temple Knight will I be able to learn that cool Sword spell? If I'm a dual wielder could I put on heavier armor?
Starting classes have in the souls games been mostly a very small choice in the grand scheme of things. And I like that, I would hate if what class you choose to start as greatly influences the end result of your character

I believe that they showed the classes to showcase what specific builds you can make. Even though the starting class is a small choice in the grand scheme of things, they usually parallel with finished builds.

I agree with Lunar. I doubt they will make your starting class a big choice. I figured they were showing different builds you could do and just called it starting classes. I hope they don't make starting classes some big decision; most of the fun I have in Dark Souls is making builds and the flexibility it allows you.

...not going to give class review. because i hope this is for the casual gaming audience. there are no classes in a true souls game. there are builds. and if i start as a knight i want access to spells, no matter how ineffective.
also, red eye knights!! i hope those red eyed guys arent to weak, im terrified of them already from demons.
