Yeah not a bad suggestion Twig, I tend to also avoid the Chatbox for reasons.  As well people you have blocked you'll run into in the chatbox since you can't block them within it.  And that can make one feel very uncomfortable.

I do not believe Soris meant that in a positive way. I can not understand exactly what Soris' intentions with that was, but I would say it was bluntly obvious that he meant it in a negative way... And it is not something I like to think he meant, but, alas, that is how it seems.

Soris, it's not like I know you well. Actually, there is no one I know very well here, I'm just an apparition in your words, not even a white phantom, and since I'm often far from the bonefires, you would have difficulties to recognise me. Anyway, you left a good impression on me and it's kinda sad a good active member is getting bored this way.
Maybe you take some things too seriously here.

 Pretty much, but do it in a non offensive way. Just say "You said xxxxxx and frankly I found it very offensive and left the chat as a result etc"

Also please if any of you wanna voice concerns please tell me over pm, or when I'm in chat.

I had a chat with a member today and they said part of the issue was an increase in flaming and generally aggressive tone of people in pvp and covenants section (for them at least). 

To me it seems part of the issue is you guys see it go on, but don't do anything about it. If you see something like that, report it to the mods and admins. I  can't stress enough that we're not psychic and we can't check every thread individually. Please, if you see something that is against the forum rules, or even if a thread is simply getting out of hand and tempers are flaring, report the post or PM as necessary. We need your help to keep this place good as it can be.

Honestly guys, don't just suffer in silence and make the occasional cryptic post in threads that the forum's "Tone has gone down" and such. If it's going down, we need to react and be proactive in discouraging the kind of behaviour that sets a bad precedent and ensuring offending individuals are spoken to.

If it's for me, I just added "almost" to not sound like a . I don't have specific targets I hate. I just have some favorites .

Why wouldn't you want to sound like Pony though ?

I don't hate ponies either, but I'm definitely not sane enough to be as good as a pony.

 Mainly because I prefer the sound of "Everybody" and "Get your hands dirty" to "Everypony" and "Get your hooves dirty"

Also MLP is incredibly sexist- every last main character is a girl.

The funny thing is they even use the words "Everybody" and "Hands" more than "Everypony" and "Hooves".

Soris, you will be missed!

You and I know our history and how time and understanding can broaden awareness and an appreciation for the uniqueness we all possess. Your absence from the Forum will be missed and leave a void that only you will be able to fill again.
Also, The Painted World will surely miss one of it's most dedicated and loyal residents.
Perhaps this will only be a temporary break to help re-center and re-invigorate your mindscape? One can only hope!
