Sorry pendant but with only ps3 browser I only come here so unless I go playstation store, I have no idea wut games are out I haven't seen here or on tv.

Yeah... after the titty scandal everyone has heard of this game. I would get it if I would own a platform that it is released on.

The game looks amazing and is getting good reviews. I will pick it up at some point. However, my current backlog and upcoming releases are going to push it back until the price drops.

This would be the first time I've actually heard of it, it really doesn't look like my type of game though. I probably won't buy it.

There was a full article about it in the last Game Informer I got. Goes pretty in-depth on what it's all about. I definitely will be picking it up.

its the sort of game I could play co-op with my dad on, so in general its a sidescrolling beat-em up style rpg with leveling elements and a addictive loot system, the graphics are pixel sprites in their epic final form with superbly fluid animations despite their graphic choice. the "titty" scandal juutas mentioned is in regards to how ridiculously sexualized the characters are, i.e women have huge hips and breasts larger than their heads, but the male characters got over exaggerated too (pecs as big as two normal people) so I don't see what the problem really is. also if you need another reason to buy it or at least check it out, its made by the same studio that created "muramasa the demon blade"... maybe I should link a video...

Buying it on release day. I was going to play Dwarf, but apparently the classes have different difficulty levels built in based on how hard each class is to play, and Dwarf is supposedly noob-tier so I might go with Wizard. Or Amazon, buttslams look pretty fun.

 Ok let me explain then. Huge overdeveloped macho male = male power fantasy. Rawr I'm so strong and manly! Me crush!. Huge T&A female = male sexual fantasy. Oh would you look at those jugs! Hence saying the unrealistic male justifies the objectified female is wrong. 

The game got bashed because the art choices are sexist and really obviously so. And yeah, that happens a lot and in most videogames and as such it is a hot topic right now. And lots of arguments about how "well don't play it then" fall flat on their faces as it's the equal of telling people living in N.Korea "well move to other country then problem solved!" 

Either way, I enjoyed Muramasa on vita- won't be picking this item up and I hope the devs have learned they can do better on the art department.

is there even such a thing as objectified males then? to be honest im really ignorant in this field of humanity as I don't really talk to that many people.

With society being very patriarchal it is currently impossible to create male objectification that resonates. The day you are walking down a street and you get cat called and a random old fat woman grabs your ***, then society will be at the point where males can be majorly seen and presented as "pleasure objects" 

Female worth is often measured by beauty, because the observer is always assumed to be male and becomes the one entitled to pass judgement on "the goods" - There's a very interesting interview with Dustin Hoffman that shows how unaware we are of these issues and often need a specific catalyst to realize what this whole thing really means

I tried taking a good luck at the gameplay in the trailers. There's been a huge amount of buzz on this for the Vita. I can't get past the art style though. If there's a social commentary to be had (like a certain slur used repeatedly in Blazing Saddles) I can see the over the top style but nothing I've seen makes me believe that's the goal. Everyone seems to be looking forward to this title for the game so hopefully that's as good as promised.

When I used to watch pro wrestling I dreaded the women's matches. The reason was that the particular women who were allowed in the ring had little to no natural ability or training and the matches were so technically unsound it was an ordeal. There's plenty of pretty faces in tight clothes on tv already. And the internet makes that particular choice of media even more accessible. Point being: I wanted to see wrestling. I have seen a few and known a couple women who have the chops to do it right. It's disappointing that the pretty face was the selling point. Like Fex said, pretty one sided on the fantasy department. Long story short (not really) I feel the same way about games. If this game is solid I can't completely condemn it. You can have the pretty face AND quality. But let's be honest, the pretty face and the overly muscular guy are intended to catch your eye. Just make sure you keep that eye open and look at everything about the game.
