I'm not neglecting anything, the reason for what would have been my inabsence is my parents think I only play games on the computer, and have been harassing me about it all the time, saying I watch anime wouldn't sit well so I asked if I could watch Youtube videos and got an ok.

I could literally sit on YouTube and watch loads of different surgeries for hours if I wanted to.. There is good stuff on there, just most peoe sit on the lol cats and meme crap that's on there

Well I know for a fact I won't be a surgeon so I doubt I need to watch those

I use Youtube for entertainment, Google has my back if I need answers :3

I've seen one or two surgery videos that relate to surgeries that I'm planning on going through but at the moment I just watch videos that Vice uploads. I'm also trying to find a few channels that upload educational documentaries too.

Yeah, I got like $120 worth in games for $10. Coulda spent like $5, but it's for a good cause.

Humble bundles are awesome. I did one for android and got a lot of great games for seven dollars or something silly like that. I only paid that much to get machinarium included. You can usually spend next to nothing and still get a handful

They are nuts, if you're patient enough you can have a very, very respectable games library just from HBs with quite a few AAA titles for pennies on the dollar.

So I've been trying to spread the word about an alpha-funded indie game I've been playing a lot lately. The more exposure they get the better the game is going to be, and it's already pretty incredible. Anyway another forum member over there is hosting a little contest this Friday in an attempt to get them some exposure, so I'm doing my part and reposting over here. Figured at worst I might introduce some of you guys to a game you might enjoy. Oh, derp. And the game is Project Zomboid. That's definitely some pertinent information to have huh? May have heard me discussing it a few times before. It's zombie survival horror with a heavy focus on survival. Same kind of premise as DayZ, but different kind of approach. Offers a great deal of complexity in survival options, for example the ability to construct your own buildings from the ground up, or just build off of other existing buildings. If any of that sounds even remotely appealing you should check it out. Contest participation is completely free, so the most you have to lose by checking it out is your time.

Oh and just for clarity's sake, Spiffo is kind of like the company's unofficial mascot. He's a zombie fighting raccoon. I'm honestly not entirely sure of the meaning behind that one myself. If there even is any. You occasionally find plush Spiffos when you're out looting places like houses or stores, or places where you'd be likely to find stuffed animals.

Maybe I should just make a thread for this instead. That might make more sense. This isn't against forum rules is it? No money is changing hands or anything. I'm going to ask.

I know you were saying you're often less inclined to mess with games that require more complicated purchases than that. I'm pretty excited to see it there. We've all been waiting for it to happen since 2011. I think I'm actually going to be writing a Fextralife article about the game once my midterms are over, as per Fex's awesome suggestion.

I'm going to drop it now from here and just write my Fextralife article. Not trying to push it on you guys anymore than I already have.
