    Dang im new to game and soul lvl 42 and i still cant find any uppgrade items except the titanium that allows me to uppgrade to regular +5 wepons... i havent got far in the game yet just killed the boss at first awakening bell..

    any ide how i can get hold on some items that might add some fire or lightning damage to my wepons

    you can just buy normal titanite shards from andre the blacksmith... lol

    Once you make it through Sen's Fortress, there is a merchant there that can sells you materials for upgrade. Such as green titanites and large titanites shards. Be aware you can also farm them in easy places such as the Slimes in the Depths. You can also try to join the forest covenant http://darksoulswiki.wikispaces.com/Forest+Hunter when you kill people in PVP there is a chance you will be getting useful materials. Either way, good luck!
